Thanks for the nice comments - this DQ swap is the best and Jetnica's love of turtles made it fun too!

Oh my what beauties! Love the country-ness of Jenni's and the playfulness and colors of the one done by Rev. Pam, and the creativeness of the one by Tam Moo to Jentica. I love them.

Sorry secret swap partner, mine will not reach you until after Christmas. Had a lot of difficulties. But, I think it will be worth the wait.

Looking forward to seeing what Tam Moo made for me in the block swap Bee.

Jenni, way to go! What size are your 9 patches? Love your color choices...
They are 1 inch 9 patches. Lots of little work. I used some repro and some vintage fabrics in the patches. I wish I had made one for myself too, but I think I'll make a photo album or scrapbook with all my projects so I can look back and remember what I made and who I gave it to.
Love your quilt Jenni!! Where did you get that mathamatics fabric ;-) ;-) Love the way you used it!!!!!! your definately hooked???? 8-)

Boy was he huffing and puffing when he got to Iowa yesterday. Darn oksewglad didn't trudge down to the mailbox until after midnight. But what a delightful surprise awaiting! He's just the cutest thing and what a great job of fabric choices and construction. Thanks, Laura. I quickly paged through the Fons and Porter magazine and the firefly note pad (let's think--Summer!) is already on the fridge. Will post pics after I get back from a marathon shopping trip today.

OK, I am committing to get mine in the mail on Monday. If I don't have a deadline to meet I'll just keep pecking away when I should be diligently working. Well, all the other big projects are done, so now I can just work on the little one. Don't worry, partner, it'll be on it's way in about 4 days, so should make it by Christmas. And (as a hint) it's supposed to be the proper temperature at your house by the time it gets to you. :-) Janice

Well, guess what......I got very very sick right after I promised to send on Monday....I was in bed for 3 days with a terrible cold. So.....maybe I'll get it done over this next few days and get it mailed out next Monday. Sorry, secret partner, but it'll make it to you before the end of the year, that I DO promise!!
