Yes, a big welcome to another newbee! We are glad to have you Judith1005.

Warning: DQ Swaps's may be addictive and hazardous to your stash
but they are great for making friends and receiving little works of love/art

Yes, I've signed up again. Haven't a clue yet what I'm going to do. I'm just finishing one for myself. It was going to be for the October swap, but turned into a bit of a disaster so I will have to keep it. Can't send rejects to a dq partner!

Muv have you ever heard the saying:
One persons scraps are another one's quilt ?

Well maybe your "disaster" would be somebody's "work of art"

Never fear--the only expectations we have are to communicate with your partner and exchange a doll quilt, then try to post them so we can all see :-)

alikat--september was my first dq swap, and my first dq. my partner was a newbie too. we're both back to do it again! it's lots of fun and you'll be surprised, they really turn out pretty easily, and looking good! 3 yrs from now i'm sure mine will look even better, but it's not a contest, it's a swap. no grades, no quilt police! just have fun!!

JoAnnGC, that's what I'm doing too. Lots of wall space to fill with little works of art from all over the world.....had my own sewing room for almost a month now. It's so nice to just close the door instead of putting it all up. This way, no more dragging it all out, it's all already to go from where I left off the night before...... :-D

same thing with me! :) I'm decorating my walls with them. And my DD is taking some of them and using them for real doll quilts too.

I am in for this swap too. I really like feeling the sense of accomplishment that comes from doing little projects.
