FYI - A friend of mine used Simple Green on hers and it did not reappear
I absolutely LOVE this product. I'm not worried about the ink reappearing. On the off chance that it does reappear, all you have to do is iron it again. No harm done.

she did the experiment to see if it came back in the extreme cold by putting the finished block in the freezer then taking it out and when the markings reappeared she used Simple Green the cleaner to wash the block and redid the experiment. Conclusion was no markings after she refroze the block and thawed it out again.
I'm curious about this. Are you talking about Simple Green the cleaner? And what did she do? Just spray it on? Wash it? Please say more.

I did the test on white fabric. Day 1-Marked each color, Day2-washed in hot water, dryed and put in freezer. It all came out.
The box is only $2.98 at walmart.
