Good job ladies! I haven't even yet thought of what I'll do. I'm posting this while lying in bed in South Lake Tahoe at a quilt retreat. I can hear all the night owls upstairs, machine a hummin! I am so happy to say it's been a truly fun 4 days with wonderful company and way too much food. I was able to trace, cut and fuse this wonderful wall hanging for my MIL for Christmas. It took me 2 full days. Going home tomorrow afternoon....Ill start planning my mini then

TL glad you had a good time, sounds like so much fun. They are having retreats around here this month too, but just don't feel like I can go when I'm leaving for Florida on the 2nd. Not enough time to get everything done. I canned all day yesterday, raspberry, rhubarb and strawberry jam and then tomatoes. Thought I would die last night.
The wallhanging is beautiful! Want to see it when you get the stitching on it. Question, does double sided fuible ever get to old to use. Last time I used it I had a terrible time trying to get the paper off and when I did the fusible came off too..didn't stay on the fabric.

Yes Jan fusible does get old. It will still fuse, but the backing/paper removal becomes an issue. I like the Steam a seam light fuseable. It is the easiest backing removal I've found.
Tahoe was beautiful and very productive! My little dog Frankie sure missed me and I him!
I have an idea of what I'm going to do for my mini, now just need some quilting time

I actually am half done with my partner's mini. No peaks yet. Just wanted her to know I am on the ball this month.
