my blocks are finally coming out the right size. I had to adjust my needle for more of a scant 1/4 inch seam. It has been fustrating having to rip and rerip......this last time was because I didn't pay attention on the rows and put them together in the wrong order.

2 sets down, 4 more to go.

Please excuse me but I couldn't upload this in PM to Mariposa, sorry to display here.
Mariposa, you were right, I had added 1/4 to each side when the graph paper was already 12 1/2". It is BOM quilt for DD's Steeler Nation quilt. It really looks like the Block name - Bats in the Belfry, just like her! LOL

Thanks, Libster, I hope DD doesn't find the one point off center! I need to learn to use a URL, whatever that is!

The big star & center square in red, the outside edge & center block HSTs in blue, the flying bats could be white doves of peace. What do ya think, Libster?

What size HST are you using to make the 4.5 pinwheels?

*You can use 3" squares, and cut once on the diagonal to get your triangles. Trim to be 2.5", which is 2" finished size plus a 1/4" seam allowance.

I feel like the White Rabbit. I am late in getting these finished up. Still working on them. Last month I had a case of the shingles. It affected both of my hands and feet. Still have some flare ups but the dr said that was going to happen for a while. I remember my great aunt had several bouts with them. Always thought she was a hypochondriac, guess I now know different. Anyway, I hope to be postal by Wed. I PM'ed our hostess but haven't heard from her yet. Hope this will be okay.

Hi All, I am back from a weekend trip to Seattle. Had a great time, and went to a Mariners game on Sunday.
