Hi cuppy and jags .... Your blocks are here!

Please no one else send any blocks! The swap deadline closes tomorrow and I will wait and recieve the blocks that are on the way already. Please let me know if you have sent your blocks recently and I haven't notified you that they are here. There should be a confirmation number to prove that they were sent in enough time for the blocks to get here by the deadline. The mail isn't running on monday.

Please understand, the deadline isn't the only issue. I have to get these swapped out and returned right away. The postal rates are going up within days of the end of this swap and I have to get them finished and gone. I can't afford to pay the extra postage on all of these return envelopes. Not to mention that I have to respect the other swappers who made a point of getting thier blocks here on time.

No they sure aren't quiltermomma. The sort facility more than likely sent them up to this post office up here in the north valley's yesterday and they should be delivered tuesday.

The post office is slow up here because of the cut backs in the staff.

I am glad to hear that my last set of blocks made it just in time. Thanks Red for letting me know that they made it.

quilter momma, I love your blocks. Whats not to love about chocolate covered strawberrys. And I love how you mixed fabric and embroidery for your flower blocks.

I learned a lesson on those roses and the embroidery, when you cut your applique, you must be mindful of direction. I cut the first batch all backwards so had to redo them until later when i realized I could reverse the design in the software so I have a whole set for myself to put on my quilt when I get my blocks. Will be putting this one on the church bulletin board for February or sooner depending on when we get them back and how much time I have to get done.

I thought I would try to post a couple pictures of my blocks. They are made with 3 dimensional bow ties. Everyone's blocks are so cute! I can't wait for that surprise package in the mail! This is the first internet block swap I've ever done.
Thank you, Red Garnet!
