Its going to be "Stash Busters 10.5 inch Layer cake swap " - a yard of unwashed fabric from your very own stash.. ! I figured we needed a spending break just after the holidays.. lol.. :lol: I'll post the swap the first week in January 2011- another quick turnaround as It seems to work out the best for most, including me... I decided to make it 10.5 as most of us- including me- will be making projects from 10 inch squares and we could cut down to size. A few in the Batik swap were not quite up to the 10in measurements and had to be unswapped so this way 10.5 is more than adequate for the required 10 in blocks especially if your unsure of your rotary cutting abilities..

I am so happy to have received positive interest in my future swaps- I will continue to have them until they are no longer fun for me- but no worries, Im truly having a blast being Hostess!!!

Hey I'm all set and ready to go for this one! I do have a question though. Do you about how much in yardage will it take to get 50 "stamps"? Thought I'd ask in case anyone else wanted to know.
Oh and I'll try to remember the box tops too!!

50 stamps???? Not following..

if your referring to this 10.5 square swap you can get aprox 12ct 10.5 squares per yard if you don't cut wrong.. ..

:oops: :lol: I'm soooo embarrassed! I think I was thinking of another swap...I think. BUt yeah I know now ours is the "pick your own stash" 12 10.5 squares. I need to remember to take my meds!! Ha! :? :shock:

Bless your heart! I know this is a lot on you but you probably have no idea what a blessing you are to some of us that truely NEED this. The board, the swap, the fellowship, kindness and Lord knows what all else. It is something I do look forward to everyday, coming here catching up on our swap and just reading about everyone elses posts. It's a wonderful realm of freindship here and you're one of the Angels that keep it going.

Happy New Year everyone!!
Was busy making blocks this afternoon, thought I'd share.
Still need to go and buy yet more fabric for another couple of blocks.Thought 6 blocks would be enough, but having laid it out, I now want 9, so after searching the ever increasing stash, still haven't found enough batiks. Need to buy 6 more to finish the other 3 blocks.
Thank you to everyone who participated to make my batik quilt possible. :thumbup:
