Was just trying to make the little piggie smell pretty since they love to lay in the mud. This little piggie wiggie is going to the fair all dolled up for show.

Ms. Grace, posted a message to you in the wonky swap. Wanting to mail both together. let me know.

Mariposa 07-30-2012 09:31 AM

QM- cute little pig!

QuilterMomma 08-03-2012 10:50 AM

Still debating on pigs to finish all six like them, but I have finished my barns. When i get all four sets finished, will post photo. I am a week behind on things so finally getting some sewing done instead of longarm. Will be at that this weekend for customers, but going to finish my farm blocks tonight. I am going to try doubling my embroidery applique designs and make a tractor and tree or a tractor and ei ei o letters above. not sure. Maybe a farm truck and ei ei o. What think? I still have the cow in the back of my mind as well. Not sure if cow or a bull.

Ms Grace 08-03-2012 11:31 AM

Can't wait to see the picture of your blocks.

Annaquilts 08-04-2012 08:12 PM

I can't resist and send a pm if I can still join.

QuilterMomma 08-05-2012 07:27 PM

Oh I no Ms. Grace, no worries girl. I was describing why I chose the floral fabric. Nothing like dressing up those little piggies. Seeing how they can ride in cars screaming wheeeeeee all the way home. LOL.

I am finishing up the last of my swap blocks. If I finish all the piggies, then I will be four sets otherwise I do have three finished. Will post photos tommorrow before I mail to you. I know you gave me your mailing address so I have to look up my wonderful PMs to find it again.

As promised, here are the blocks I am sending in, four sets of 6 each.
I used Buggy Barn fabrics out of my plaids and the scrap bags you can buy there. These are an OESD embroidery design pack.

Ms Grace 08-06-2012 10:18 AM

they are great!

QuilterMomma 08-06-2012 11:03 AM

They look even cuter in person. The tractors are all of a green and yellow plaid, thought of John Deere when made them. Yep, had to dress the pig up with pink painted toe nails. I doubled up on designs with the tree and tractor and the cow and eieio! letters. It came to me after I did the barns and thought I needed to send in larger squares. I am going to make the others for my own quilt and do the small 3.5" blocks so I can add them to the top of a 9.5 so can match a 12.5 or so the story goes. I am making a dog, another tree, a horse, a farm truck, and a chicken which are the rest of the designs in the pack for myself. Could not do them all for the swap, oh darn. I did notice that the pack does not have a cat in the mix. Hope someone is making a cat, every farm needs a good mouser, oh and there is another thing, a mouse, every farm has a nest of mice in it. Someone doing that? I am going to have to find one in my patterns to make that for my quilt if no one is making it.

Annaquilts 08-06-2012 07:29 PM

QM I am looking for a cat for my last design. Sofar I have piggies, a barn, a snow man and now maybe a cat.

QuilterMomma 08-08-2012 01:45 PM

Since I am loosing it here, let me pass on a joke for you to keep the theme going.

Why did the farm feed his cow money?

He wanted rich milk.:D:D:D

QuilterMomma 08-08-2012 01:45 PM

How do mules open locked barns?

With don-keys. :D:D

I know, laffy taffy time again.

Annaquilts 08-08-2012 02:11 PM

OK I was worried you were spending too much time in that hot garage running that long arm but this confirmed it.
Hehehehehe :D :D

Of course they will fit in Anna, everything fits in. That is why it is "fun". Looking forward to seeing them.
