3. How many fur babies do you have? 2 - an eldery pug named Mojo and a pain in the butt Bijon named Wilfred (he acts like a two year old but we love him!)
4. Besides quilting and crafting what is your favorite thing to do? Read on my Kindle, home repair (I have my own workshop) and garden - when the rabbits and woodchucks don't eat everything. This year I am hanging all my plants!
5. favorite TV show? I usually just leave it on for noise but I am a sucker for NCIS.

Quick update - we did get clobbered by the storm here in CT - 27", they have a no travel ban in the town of North Branford and they canceled school AGAIN. Those kids will be going until July!!!
I did get some squares cut but its a little slow because I am also cutting an extra strip to do a French braid quilt. I had saved my old cutting mat so what I did was cut a 60 degree half hexagon template from the cutting mat using the template pattern in the Fons and Porter Scrap Quilts magazine. The template can be used to outline the pattern and because I smoothed the edges with my sander, it can be used with a rotary cutter if I am careful. Each strip yields about 7 half hexagons. You guys get the benefit of my playing around with this - I cut templates for each of us so your birthday envelopes will include a template and a copy of the instuctions to make a 60 degree French Braid. This is an addictive pattern, fair warning! :) AND it beat shoveling snow and more snow!!!! ugh

well that is a lot of snow...In Michigan we only got around 4-5 inches. I stayed home all day and sewed!!! I LOVE snow days. I am a nanny so the parents stay home with the kids so I don't have to work. (they are so nice to me they don't want me to travel in the bad weather)
