now as for my chicken pincushion(s), i thought about a sneak peek but decided i wanted the recipient(s) to be surprised. you gals/guys saw the pattern so you have some idea of the shape at least. i need to go look for a tiny pink boa tomorrow that's all i'm sayin'.:cool:

i couldnt find a tiny pink boa today but i got something i think will work. just use your imagination. also those darn feathers. hopefully what i have will work (visually) for whomever gets my pincushion. again use your imagination.:D

Could we make this a monthly swap like the DQ swap? I love pin cushions and they don't take too awfully long to make.

* For the idea of another pin cushion swap, I can put feelers out to see what you all think. Time wise, we could do monthly, or every three months or sew, or twice a year, etc. Let's throw out some ideas~~~

my vote would be a quarterly swap at the most or twice a year as ideal. that gives one time to plan & make one or two among all the other projects we are undertaking.

Have PATIENCE LADIES.... Our coordinator IS busy WORKING on our names... They will come soon YIPEE!! My voe qwould be quarterly , as I seem to keep taking on other swaps and I LOVE them ALL!! BUT,, we don't have to sign up every month if any swap is monthly, step in and step ourt when neccessary.

Let's see, my vote would be monthly~~~because if it was quarterly we would have to wait sewwww long to get/send our pincushions. Although, probably quarterly is more practical. Do we have to be practical???? :D :D :D

I am with all of you whatever you decide. We do need this one more often though, and as some of you have said, any swap that is put up to monthly doesn't have to be done monthly, but is open to everyone monthly. I actually think that is so nice for more swap ideas too. Ok, so I also love these swaps. I have been learning so much more than if I wasn't part of this wonderful board. I always look forward to coming here. :thumbup:

I love pincushions. I have made 7 this week. I was trying for 52 this year.
One a week. My Mom fell fractured ribs, in hospital woulnd up having a pacemaker and etc...
so I got side tracked and behind on my pincushionmaking. I am trying to play catch up.
I would love one a month. That would be fantastic.

Great I received my secret name too..........now for the mailing thing. Is that were we get the mailing receipt from the post office.......not that we have to pay extra for proof of delivery? Also my vote is for every 3 months.............later girlies...................calla
