Red, I am in and shipping out 12 packs today. While the dots are so colorful and fun ( very happy looking little baggies! Can’t wait to get more and make ? something that is Happy and makes me smile!) I just have to say... This time cutting 5” squares almost did me in! Holy moly! This alone makes me want to invest in a GO cutter! Kudos out to all you quilters who have been doing this a while......

I am mailing out today-Red can you let me know if you get a quarter with my money wrapped up? Pretty sure I got it in there but just found 2 random quarters on my desk and not sure if one rolled out of my money or if someone just put them there.

Fizzle: you'd love your go. But I'll be honest, I rarely use mine for this swap, since I typically use fq's. My ruler stretches the length of the FQ, so I really don't have issues. But for strips? OMG....what a Huge bonus that is! And I have some pretty cute dies, too. We have a local place that lets you rent their Go for $15/hr or $7.50 for 30 minutes. That includes using their dies. Perfect for those times when you want to do....say...a train, but know you'll only make one of those :)

SO totally worth it in my book. But then....I'm picky about how I place my material in there so there is little waste. I hear some people are not, and they think it wastes a lot of material. Not so, if you are patient :)

Stafar: I'll take a look. No worries if it isn't there. I did a swap recently, and was so used to being the hostess, I never mailed her my money. I had to do that in a separate envelope. I couldn't figure out why I actually had cash on the table. Then it dawned on me. Mercy. She was kind and gracious about it, and that's my motto, too :D

Red- thanks for the info. I guess I should be looking at FG instead of yardage. I will have to check with my LQS and see if they have GO and rent time on them. I think that’s a great idea...... Would be nice for appliqué shapes...

Well hello from snowy and icy southeastern Wisconsin! So far we have about 2" of ice and seven inches of snow. We're getting off light. 30 minutes north of us they have 15" of snow and they still aren't done. 90 minutes north they have 31 inches. Last Thursday it was 50 degrees. Lovely to know Mother Nature appears to be bipolar and off her meds! :D

I live almost barefoot but glad the real "Almost Barefoot" was found ..... My dots should be in your mailbox today, Red. It was hard to part with them even though other fantastic dots will be coming back. I've grown to really like those dots! Great choice, Red!!

Quilt Lady, yes I did, and I did feel your package was lighter than the rest. Rest assured however many you started with, will quickly grow if you join again, because these ladies ROCK!

I have never been disappointed with anything I have received from them.

If I am reading correctly, I think I have everyone! I will try to distribute by Saturday, but if I can't make that I'll get them out by Monday. That's early everyone! Thanks for being so prompt!!!! (Okay, not to mention I LOVE dots and circles and am looking forward to seeing what everyone sent!)

Being new here I have a question or two. How frequently do you swap? Are we now on an automatic notification when you decide on the new one? I vote for the random drawing, if I have a vote. If you decide to ask preference then I vote for Batiks. Thank you, Red, for your efforts on everyone's behalf. Fun.

Good morning my polka-dotted friends!

The squishies were opened and redistributed and are at the post office as we speak! It was a joy to see everyone's contributions. We have some really cool folks on this board, and I am so grateful to have you part of this group!

I sent along (to all, not just the folks who received my charms) 2 silicone "thingies". (lol) They are to put around your spools of thread. Supposedly they keep them from unraveling. Since I have a boatload of embroidery thread this is always a challenge to keep it clean and tidy. I haven't used them yet, as I just received the order, so I hope we all like them!]

I will be leaving feedback today. If you don't receive one from me, by all means let me know. With mom back in the hospital, my head is sometimes in the clouds, and I don't want to forget anyone :)

Yea Red! First of all, prayers for your mother and family. Secondly, take care of yourself. You take such good care of us in organizing and distributing on those squares of fabrics ... I certainly appreciate you, especially this month among a world of dots. I'll be standing by the mailbox waiting for my dots.

I received different kinds of spool keepers throughout these swaps. Many of them seem like the tiny ponytail holders. I ordered a big bag of 200 of various colors to hand out, too! Well, they came in and they are much bigger than they looked in the ad. The measurement was in mm, and I still figured they were the right ones. Oh well. Now I need to find some little girls to give them to! LOL
