I married my ex after my mother's approval, which consisted of "He's a very nice boy...and he's got a nice butt too!" I should have known then he was trouble, lol. I only moved here with him because he was fun & cute. I didn't plan on 15 years and 2 kids with him when we started this adventure.

I have frequent flyer miles I can use, so I will get a head start on the sun and drinks. And my personal choice would be George Strait, love me some George.

I love me some George too! Did you see this is his last tour? One of the guys in my boyfriend's department, who has done extremely well for himself financially, has taken his wife on several fly-ins to cities where he was playing on this tour to see him. They're rabid fans if I've ever seen any.

Here we are getting over winter, and hoping it doesn't come back again, and in between George Straight fly-ins, he went off to northeast Canada close to the Arctic Circle and went polar bear hunting. He shot one his second day, so they bought last minute tickets to a concert somewhere & he met her there & then flew home.

Dear beach-loving friends...you all can sit in the sun and drink your drinks. I will be back in the beach house fixing your dinner. Sun and I do not stay together very long so will be there decorating the table with a table runner and placemats along with some neat mug rugs. When you are all sitting around enjoying a yummy dinner and complaining about your sun burns, I will pass the jar of Noxema around and give you sympathy!:-)

boy, noxema goes back a long way! do they even still make it? i have some frequent flyer miles, too. i'm going to dallas for a month, but i could just forget the grandbaby and my kids, and turn into a country beach slut! bring on the boys, and don't spare the burritos!

Oh yeah, they make it. I still use it sometimes too! Between that and aloe gel (kept in the fridge all summer long!) I've got all the sunburn remedies everyone will need.

I don't do the sun much either, I'll help in the kitchen. Surely there's a covered porch somewhere where I cold put my fanny down, feet up and read a good book or just do some hand sewing? (That's after I've finished helping in the kitchen!) Brat, I could possibly 'forget' I got my runner and tell you I needed one to fill the gap - would you fall for that and send me one? If so, consider it said. I'll wait by my mailbox for delivery ;)

lol guys.. I am already there. I close my eyes and I can hear the water, and.. thats it. maybe maybe some of that music but the best time of day on a gorgeous beach is right at sunrise or sunset. less burning rear ends or cleavages, and well just that little chair real low feet right at the waters edge so it can lap around your toes.. and if I am thirsty one of those 'beach' boys in white shorts can instantly come running with a cool drink of anything when I outstretch my hand. Oh I have a big hat on a gorgeous sarong covers those parts like wiggly inner thighs that are NObody's business.and flowers tucked behind my ear. like a boquet worth lol..

to those of you inside for this trip I think we can arrange spa massages for you.. and cool cool fresh beverage of your choice, some pretty girls in pretty little outfits doing all the cooking and waving of big tropical leaves over you so your not over heated. yup that kind of trip.

WELL today is the real last day for sewing girly girls. Has everyone MAILED or are you mailing by tomorrow? I find my mailbox minus any I am mailing emails stating your tablerunner status.
