I have received the most lovely spring doll quilt!! It is hand quilted at that!! Very, very pretty-I do love it! Thank you, Gail. I want to hang it in my home. And some lady bug extras arrived, too! A kleenex holder and a checkbook cover, both are great gifts I can use! You can make a traditional crazy quilt or take something traditional and turn it on it's ear -- or, as you said, wild and wooly, cuckoo! I think another word is "wonky". In May we throw away the rules and go wild. But, as always, the theme is optional. So if you must stick to the rules, feel free.

ooo, this is going to be so much fun. I can't wait. My April DQ is on it's way to my partner....NOW! lol. I have been looking forward to trying out a crazy style quilt. I had a really hard time letting this months go on it's way. It's one of my favorites. But, it made it a little easier receiving the beautiful red and white one. My partner and I thought a lot along the same lines. Can't wait for her to receive it.

Such talent you have moonrise: your pink and white with embroidery is a treasure for sure. krystyna: your pink and brown dq is wonderful, quilting on an emb. machine, I need to add that to my lists of reasons to buy.... How do you like you accuquilt go??? almond, your work is always beautiful Guess I need to learn how to make yo-yos, that quilt was amazing, along with the dresden... so many beauties, so little time....:D Mailed my april dq off to my partner today, hope she likes it! |
