I have received the most lovely spring doll quilt!! It is hand quilted at that!! Very, very pretty-I do love it! Thank you, Gail. I want to hang it in my home. And some lady bug extras arrived, too! A kleenex holder and a checkbook cover, both are great gifts I can use! You are a skilled quilter, Gail and I am delighted to own something made by your hand.

You can make a traditional crazy quilt or take something traditional and turn it on it's ear -- or, as you said, wild and wooly, cuckoo! I think another word is "wonky". In May we throw away the rules and go wild. But, as always, the theme is optional. So if you must stick to the rules, feel free.

AAAAhhhhh...a theme that fits most of my quilting projects-chaos and wonky-hahaha.....especially compared to the vast majority of you all in this swap...the quilts and the handwork is always amazing!

I'll post official "rules" in a couple of days. Brenda, we are twins in that regard. No matter how hard I try, things are always a little "off kilter". I think my last two were the closest I've come to "coloring within the lines". As natural as Quilty Chaos is for some of us, I know that it is not at all for others ... so I have my thinking cap on for those of you who are more regulated in your process (and how I envy you!) So ... stay tuned!

ooo, this is going to be so much fun. I can't wait. My April DQ is on it's way to my partner....NOW! lol. I have been looking forward to trying out a crazy style quilt. I had a really hard time letting this months go on it's way. It's one of my favorites. But, it made it a little easier receiving the beautiful red and white one. My partner and I thought a lot along the same lines. Can't wait for her to receive it.
