Cedar beautiful tea cup pin cush. It's just so pretty and bright.

Cedar, if you are going to make a pincushion with batting, you have to make sure that it is stuffed firmly. You would be surprised how much stuffing you can get in a little pincushion.

I just love the teacup pincushion. I'm trying to make one with the little house on top. I made the house and it was too big but haven't made the lawn part yet. Too many pleats in it so I'll have to figure something out.

Cedar her board name is Argentium. Are the flowers crocheted? That is really pretty. If a pincushion is lightly stuffed, it won't hold pins as well. A number of swappers only display pincushions too, that is why I ask if it is for everyday.
And with that last package the April swap is complete! A big thank you to all the swappers, I appreciate the fact that you all followed through on the swap. |
This was a great group of swappers and I bet that you are glad that everyone shipped. Keep up the good work.

Everybody did real good. Now on to Mays swap.

I believe the flowers are felted.
How does the stuffing rule look for things like walnut and cedar? I have to say that I'm kind of appreciating that old pincushion Kat left behind now. It was great to have an example of what not to do, and my pincushions benefited from it. Laurie -- Thanks for getting me her name I'm going to PM her now. |
