Not being able to actually see it, I think my choice would be white or if you had the shade of the light green in the watermelon rind. Think that would "end" the reds....

Depending on what the backing is, The blue would finish the edge nicely and not detract from the quilt center. A second option would be a medium green like in the rind.

The rose bud runner was so nice to make that I am making a second one. I am following the pattern this time which gives the finished runner an additional design. Pictures tomorrow.
