I have always pre-washed fabrics when I put them in my stash. But since so many on here don't I do not pre-wash any of the ones I buy new so my swap partner will have some consistancy, but if I had it in my stash it most likely will be washed. I too send in a manilla envelope.

I spent a bunch of time admiring batiks on ebay and there is a seller who has some pretty darned nice ones over 300 choices for 6.99 a yard FREE SHIPPING. The free shipping got me. Nice fabric, cheaper now than connecting threads and no shipping cost or ridiculous minimal buy to get free shipping. I accidentally bought a yard from him. :) I think we are closer to closing here aren't we??? two more days? long long days??? lol.. patience brat patience (hah likely I will have to read the definition in the dictionary but bet my name is not next to it).

Got am email from Nancy's Notions that she has batik on sale for 1.99 a FQ.

I bought my batiks today.... so so pretty....bought some for me too :))

I went to Nancys Notions and did not find 1.99 batiks :( some pretty things but you have to buy large bundles of them which was not on the menu this week. I ordered one set from ebay of 12 and it was 24.00 so not running out to buy more right away I think. I did order from that man who sold for 6.99 a yrd and he has nice fabric. free shipping is so hard to beat. anyone else have good deals to share??

I will have to check that email I got from from Nancy's. I did not order from there as I had already gone to ebay and got mine for 2.79 a half yard.

Is everyone packaged up and ready to send? (something to do while waiting right?) The man on ebay who sells batiks has them 20 percent off so like 5.79 a yrd free shipping over 300 to pick from. I am thinking its hard to beat that when ordering as most charge at least 2.00 a yrd to ship minimim .. I want some of each lol. ok only half of them I only want some of 150 batiks. thats all. swear.

Mine are going to two people I have never swapped with before! I hope they like the selections. I had fun picking them out. I know if I get all batiks from my swap partner I will be very happy. Simple things huh? Thanks Brenda for hooking us all up I so much appreciate it!! the pictures are going to be so fun to watch it will be window shopping for le brat all over again.. I want this one and that one and two of those and.. yup I can see it already in my minds eye. by midweek we should start to see photos. make sure you take pictures of what you receive so we can all drool!

Went to the PO at lunch, one should arrive tomorrow and the other by Thursday. I am ready to see pics of what is rec'd.

Mind went out today - arrival Thursday/Friday, depending on Pony Express time. Yes, Cindy, I too am ready to see what everyone is receiving. Lots of pics everyone! The range of batiks is enormous and there will probably be lots of duplicates, but I bet there'll be some that no one else is getting...and knowing the ladies here, they aren's sharing!;)

OK OK I just checked where i sent the packages: one went east of me but not that far and another is traveling half way across the US before it finds it way home. Neither are west coast states nor east coast states. and thats it kiddos. should narrow the recipients by 50 percent :)

Getting my sp packages together and will put them on the back seat and see how long it takes my dh to mail them.
