April Secret Pal Signups: Closes March 31 at noon
 

This is a monthly secret pal swap. There is a sign up every month, and you can
choose whether or not to participate each month. You will get a different partner each month, and the person you send to will may be different than the person you receive from. Failure to send your package after signing up will be cause to be banned from all future swaps. Please do not sign up if you cannot fulfill your obligation. Have fun and be creative!

After receiving your Secret Pal’s details, go to work and put together a package with something you think your pal would like. There is a $15.00 limit on this swap that does not include what you have in your stash. (This does not include shipping) Most swappers do not mind like-new stash items. Please send items you would like to receive. Do not send smelly, holey, or stained fabric. You will need to send me (hav4boys) a PM when mailing and receiving. This way I can keep my records straight. Also send a PM to your SP thanking them and leave feedback.

Please take pictures and post in group as everyone likes to see what you get.

Packages need to be mailed out by April 20th, this is a Firm deadline. All International mailings must be mailed by April 10th Firm. If you know that you cannot mail by that date, Please Do Not Sign Up.

For international mailing it is very important that you mark your parcel as a 'Gift' on the Customs Declaration (there's a box you can check). Also, the value should be $10 only (even if you send diamond necklace). The person receiving the package is liable for Import Duty, Tax and a Handling fee. This can cost the person receiving as much as $40.

Padded envelopes are much cheaper to send compared to small boxes. These can be ordered free of charge from the USPS website.

If your pal does not receive her/his package within a reasonable time I will need tracking information. If there is an exception on the mailing, you will need to inform me ASAP. No one enjoys not getting a package after they have sent one.

Getting my secret pals package ready to go today. I’m excited about what I have to send, I hope she likes it. It has a long way to travel and will end up on a coast (ish) again.

I received a Huge box from BrendaK today. Thank you so much Brenda! I Love the fabrics, I adore bright batiks and can’t wait to make something with them. Ellie was excited to get some treats and has already gobbled up some. I’m excited to try out the fuzzy socks and I found the perfect place for the matryoshka, she’s so cute! Hi! I received my package from my SP yesterday I have plans to open it Sunday! I am quarantining everything that comes in through the mail :( But am so excited to open it! I have most of the package ready for my SP just waiting on some things to come in the mail. I think I'll be sending to my SP on the later side of the timeline :( Though I can't wait to send it out!

I opened my package today from my SP. I love love love everything, thank you so much Pamela! She sent me the new tula pink fabrics, other beautiful fabrics as well, threads, needle threader, desk clip, needles, quilt pattern, marker and eraser for fabrics and the cutest note pad. This all made my day, I can't wait to start sewing!

Well, this is a first. I packed up my SP's package, took care of postage and sealed it. And forgot the card I wrote to go in it!!!! So, SP, you may be getting a card in the mail a day later possibly than your package!
I can't believe I just did that. Not enough coffee this morning, I guess.

Received a lovely package from MizMelly yesterday! Selvages, clips, a threader, an emery board, 3 patterns, a magazine, a lovely group of 12 coordinating fabrics, and her forgotten card, which arrived in the same batch of mail!
I have been working more than usual as an RN; many of my coworkers went on furlough and we are shorthanded at best!

Hi Everyone,
I was looking for the zipper pouch swap and didn't see it. Does anyone know if it has been discontinued or what happened? I did it a time or 2 before and had found the cutest pouch patterns I wanted to make and swap.

I received a wonderful package from wbfrog. I'd post a picture if I could figure out how to do it [img]images/smilies/confused.png[/img] One of these days! Anyway, she sent some lovely fabrics, a green and white scarf, a book, a pattern, and some bobinis. All will be put to good use. Thanks, wbfrog!
