Thanks Lori got my name. Have not been on much in March. I lost my brother this week so I wont be on much this coming week either.

Now for non SP cuteness, my niece and her family
are in CO visiting for a couple weeks, than they are
headed back to CA as her hubs is in the Army.

So on Saturday we celebrated my grandson's 1st
birthday (which isn't until the 13th), and my great
nephews birthday (both are early celebrations). Here

Hi all I'm back from Boston! Glad to be home in the warmth. I survived the cold weather and snow and had a wonderful time with my daughter and son-in-law and pooch. I received my SP info and can't wait to start getting items together. J

Hi All -

I got a few pm's from people who are in this group wondering if I was ok, as I hadn't logged on in awhile. The last 8 weeks have been a whirlwind of h*ll. My mother found out the day before she and dad were supposed to leave on their long awaited get well trip to Hawaii that her cancer had returned. It ripped through her body like wildfire, and after only 6 weeks they told her it was terminal. 2 days after we brought her home on hospice, she passed away on Monday March 28th. I may not be back on the board much for another month or two, but hope to get back on the board and into this swap soon!

Hope everyone else has been well. Juanitabean, sorry for your loss!

Mailed my package out today...so excited!!

I'm waiting for an order to get here and then I will be able to mail my package to my secret pal! This has been a hard month for me. My mom passed away 2 years today and a daughter passed away on my birthday,3 years ago. I really didn't think that it would be this hard. Remember to give those you love an extra hug today, you just never know what is around the corner.

Here are a few "clues" to tease you with.

You live to the East of me.

I "googled" your address and see that you do not have a swimming
pool, but there are a few houses in your neighborhood who do have
pools.

You like many of the same colors as I do, and one of your disliked
colors is like mine.

You DO have an embroidery machine.

You like the same beverage as me.

More clues to come later.

I am excited! My swap partner is new to me and definitely the closest one I have ever had! She is so close that if I wished, I could drive her package to her in about an hour and a half!

I know I'm not Quilty Louise's SP, unless you count the standing water as pools in my area. I'm not close to Gaijin, so I know I'm not hers either. Hmmm wondering who has me this month.

I mailed my package today. Never had this person, and I never mailed here, so I had to ask questions when I hit the post office and change out packaging. It is all good, and I will know for any other mailings to this area. Postman stated it would take a week and half to get there, but I thought that was an awful long time to get where it is going for me. But as we all know the posts move slowly. She likes a quilting techinque I absolutely hate! She has several pets.

My package went out today and should get there in two days (by the 11th). Be on the lookout for it. Hope it contains things you will like. I wasn't able to put all the things in that I wanted, so guess that they will go next month.

My heart goes out to all of you that lave lost loved ones. In the past two weeks we have lost two very good friends. It's a hard time.

What kind of parrot do you have?

My co-worker have OVER 30 birds most of them are Macaws, and
a Great Palm, Cockatoos, Cockatiels, Finches and goodness knows
what all else he has LOL.

I sometimes work the Bird Expo with him.

Dear SP I have your package ready to go, but the mail carrier
didn't show up before closing time today. So hopefully they will
be there tomorrow.

To my secret pal, you pkg is in the mail as of two hours ago. It should be in your hands by this Thursday.

I was right! Catjo had me! I got her package today! It was awesome!

Quilty-Louise I have an african grey parrot, named Echo. She's almost 16, and I have had her since she was about 5 months old! She's quite the character let me tell you! We share a room LOL My sewing room is also her birdroom - she's only in her cage to sleep!

And this is what she does to my chairs while I am sewing!

My co-worker has a "Shamrock" Macaw (new breed), a cross of
a Scarlet and another breed of Macaw (forgot what now), he is
orange and green.
