Man, I hope you can sort it out, Knitette! another $30 seems like WAAAYYYYY too much! I can't wait to hear what they say. I will send you the money if that is what it is!! I used my postage program on the computer, which has been good so far, I can't imagine what would cause the issue. Do you have pay pal?
Even if I can't, the charges are pay back, lol. The number of HUGE parcels I've had from swappers? I also order most of my fabric from the US and usually it slips through without charge, so it's 'poetic justice' :D |
So.... did you get the package? Did you have to pay customs? What was in it? Inquiring (make that nosey) minds want to know!

I think that Ladybug posted on the wrong thread. She has received her August package.

I'm curious. Knittette said she didn't know what the tools were that I sent. How many use a "hemostat" in their sewing? I love mine. Works almost like a third hand when you need to hold something, and I have very fat fingers and acrylic nails, so they are great for getting into tight spots!! The fishermen in the family, and there are many, have them to help get the hooks out. (hopefully from the fish, LOL). The other is a pair of tweezers, but work in reverse of the usual. Squeeze to release. Just found them at a sale and bought several pair, as I thought they would come in handy for much the same things!!

I don't know of anyone else, I use them for fishing. I use my purple thang or stiletto.
