Hi Guys,
Jus a quick update. Everybody has mailed so the runners are starting to come in thick and fast. hugs Caroline |
I received my runner yesterday from EKUW it is so pretty. I love the colors so much. Very pretty pattern too. She was nice enough to send some apple carmel candies and a utter cream which is a really good hand cream. Also a nice card. She's a really good swap partner.. Thank You Elizabeth.

I am glad you like the runner Mary :-) Here's a picture I took in the sunlight so you can see the colors better.
|
Oh thank you. It was so dark and cloudy yesterday when I took a picture. That shows the beautiful quilting and the pretty colors.
|
Beautiful and I love the colours

Hi Guys,
Lovely runners arriving at their new locations..... one landed in the UK too! Beverley, sent me the most fantastic runner... she also included the most fun tape measure I have ever seen, some beautiful fabric and a chalk fabric marker...she also included the loveliest sentiments in her card! Beverley, thank you so much for my runner and gifts... but I don't know how long I will own the runner......... DD is coming home for Christmas and she is a total cat lover and I think your runner may be heading for the student life in London!!!!! Hugs Caroline |
EKUW .... what a beautiful runner. That roped quilting is incredible.
Caroline, I’m so happy you like the runner. I think these cosmopolitan kitties will love life in London. |
Beverley what a cute runner. I love the fabrics. I recently bought one of those chalk markers. I got a white one. It works so nicely. It took a little time to get used to it for curves, but I love it.

Funky Roosters
I received my runner from m-fay yesterday and just love it! It's so fun and really well done. Nothing like a chicken dancing to make you smile. She also sent some fat quarters and a lovely card. Thank you m-fay :-)
I am having problems uploading a picture of the runner so I will try to post it later. :-( |
I really enjoyed making that one for you. It turned put so much better than the one I made for myself years ago.

Hey everyone! I received a lovely envelope from Rosalyn (r-sea) with a beautiful Christmas themed runner, gold coloured fabric piece and some information about where she's from! And a tea bag, for a remote cup of tea! Christmas is just around the corner so my runner is just going to "hang out" for a couple of weeks, then onto my table! :) Thank you so much Rosalyn! I love the idea of including something from our country/area to share with recipients, getting to know the world more! I'm going to try to do the same thing with the next swap! All the best everyone!

What a lovely holiday runner r-sea made.
You're right Sue, how cool that she included regional items. In addition to this being a swap, it is an opportunity to learn about our swap partners and where they live. Here's the photo of the funky roosters. So fun :-) |
Beautiful table runners, R-sea and M-Fay!
|
Beautiful runners ladies. Christmas is getting close. Almost time to decorate for it. I love my runner and it is in fall colors so I'm keeping it on my table till after the first of Dec. I love the funky chickens. Since I have a farm way out in the country I have chickens and cows. Does everyone have their runners now? I'm not trying to push just don't want to miss seeing any. Hope all you Americans have a great Thanksgiving.

I have it on good authority that it is on it's way! :) |
That could be a clue as to where it's coming from. TIA Sue
|
Well, r-sea and m-fay still don't have their runners! https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/wave.gif What a bummer! COVID strikes again! Hang in there ladies, it's going to be like a surprise Christmas present! Looking forward to seeing them when they arrive at their new homes! Happy camping ladies! We have snow although not very much, but our camping season is definitely on hold until our spring.
Hoping everyone is staying well and safe! Happy December! |
I've gone back through the posts to check, but wondering if I missed what our next swap will be? I'm assuming we are continuing and that the next one will be due the end of January? I have just finished 2 Bonnie Hunter tops - Frolic & Good Fortune, now waiting for Moxie to arrive for quilting. So thought I would check here for any news? I know there are 2 runners not yet received - any others?
|
I didn't see anything yet either.
|
Finally I received a lovely bright table runner from Caroline today and a piece of great fabric and I keep thinking of all the shades of pink that will go with it.

I’ve been working on a QOV for my Dad. Also working on the last block for 2020 Color Challenge with Patterns by Jen. Hard to believe a whole year has come and gone. |
Rosalyn will you post a picture of your runner? Hope Carolyn is OK.
|
Unfortunately lawsonmugs my phone is playing up and won't send an email photo to my laptop . I have to wait until my daughter comes next week to help me sort it out. I did ask Caroline to post a photo when I messaged her that I had received it
|
Oh I'm sorry R-sea We all love seeing the pretty runners. Hope either Caroline or you will post it soon.
