This is the color way I can do with my fabrics. Wanted a large selection. Now how do I want to set these is the bigger question. |
They're all very nice, Beth. I 'm sure you will do something beautiful with them.
|
A nice combination of fabrics quilterMomma. Anxious to see the creativity happening!

Well I do have it sandwiched and ready to quilt. Would so love to put a spot of red into it for fun. I decided with the fabrics to make a bargello with just one streak of red. I think it will be cool. I have to get a demo ready for the quilt show in Sandpoint this weekend. Will post photos when done, of the bargello mind you.

Okay...sneak peaks for Uncle Gravy and a question...purple or orange for you? ("Monochrome...give us those nice bright colors...")

So cool!!! They are both beautiful... but I'm an orange kind of guy!
|
Coming your way soon, Uncle Gravy!
|
Both colorways and fabrics are great.
I am waiting for my machine to come back from the repair shop so I can get to the quilting portion of my project. I am antsy to get started. Perseid Meteor shower this weekend! May the skies be clear. peace |
is this the same as the old doll quilt swap. I only recognize ljdugas's name.
|
Hi, I think it a little different. Great swap!
|
I don't think this is the doll quilt swap. This is a mini swap But not in the true sense of mini that you replicate a pattern to scale. This is just a small quilt, up to 18" sq. That's my interpretation of the rules, and I'm stickin' to it. Yeah, "that's the ticket".
peace |
Exactly ube!
The doll quilt swap hasn't been around for some time. The fearless hostess for that one moved and then........ It was a fun swap too. I participated many times. I loved trying new patterns for that one. We're always welcoming here and would love to have you kwiltkrazy. |
Thanks. I did love the DQ swap. Maybe next month.
|
Have mine quilted, now to do binding. I am giving a demonstration on bindings this weekend at a quilt show in Sandpoint, Idaho so will use this as an example and demo subject. It will go out on Monday. Now how do I want to bind it? That is the tough question.

I'm not a member of this swap but follow it religiously every month because the people on this swap are SO talented!!
|
Thank you very much Vovoa. Are you thinking of joining us next month?:D
|
I talked to Jan (Jaba) today. She said to tell everyone that she will be flying home tomorrow. We were supposed to meet up but her and DH have been really busy since they came to Florida. They ended up buying a winter home close to their son. They will be back down sometime in November for the winter months and we plan on getting together then. Also, the new granddaughter is beautiful. Maybe she will post some pictures when she gets home.

Vovoa, the idea of the swap is participation and sharing, yes, there is a great amount of creativity, but simplicity in a nine patch with pretty fabrics is just as rewarding to receive. We are also here to help each other move forward with their ideas. The QB has encouraged me so much to try new stuff.

Vovoa, we'd love to have you join! All skill levels and kinds of creativity are welcome. It is a fun group, and each month is a challenge that helps build skills.
|
Awesomely said ladies! We'd LOVE to have you join vovoa :) It's a great swap to let your creative juices flow. You should see how mine starts and then finishes about 100 miles from that point. I think you'd surprise yourself! and make someone else happy too! Hope you'll consider it.
|
I've heard a few have been received. Don't forget the pics :) We're all waiting to see!
