Still thinking on what pattern to make

As always, once I start something... OCD, ADHA or just plane enjoy the doing. I have started three different colorways of the same pattern. Deciding which one to send will come later.:D

One question is bugging me though. Is it okay to have accents of other colors other than the main mono chromatic theme? Here is an example:

The star fabric is the background. Is this acceptable to the theme?

another, this would be the border. The main part of the mini is green. Is the black okay?
[ATTACH=CONFIG]555321[/ATTACH]

is everyone being strict with the theme or is there a little wiggle room?
