Sure would be nice if he headed here first...

My son has been in the hospital in MI since yesterday, with a infection on his neck... the culture showed staff and then they dissected it and found out that it wasn't Mersa... not sure of the name yet, hope to talk to him tonight and find out... He's in good hads and they are great up there got on it right away... Still need some prayers and I need a few hugs... Been a rough 4 days worrying about what it was... I'll be fine just needed to cry out loud for a minute... Thanks for listening.. Hugs

Mrs Ladybug. I am sending out prayers for your son. I was in the hospital in May for a week with an infection in my upper arm. I also had Mersa, but with the wonderful antibiotics they gave me I healed eventually. It was a very boring week though because I wasn't allowed to leave my room and they didn't want me to have visitors. Hugs to you. Big big big hugs

I have just put the finishing touches on my SP package... now, do you think I have a single box and/or appropriately-sized envelope in my house?! No!!! :hunf:

Lucky for my SP, that means I'll probably put more stuff in before I get it into the mail. (Maybe even some baked goods again this month!)

Oh neat! My SP is in a different country than me. I haven't seen them post much but then again I haven't really perused the forums a lot myself. They're very specific which is nice. Might have to rethink my box.. we'll see.

ok, where did you find him and how much to trade? Mine actually took my gingher scissors and trimmed a small plant. I about flopped over. He did sheepishly offer to pay to have them sharpened. Five pairs of fiscars and he picked those. I am up for a trade honest.

For the record a friend gave me a TWO jumbo zip lock bags full of spool thread. Now I think she may have been trying to tell me something. If only I could find where I put them. LOL I enjoy my own little insanity too. I think this about this exchange: whatever is sent will be a pleasure to receive in my books. The fact that someone is willing and excited about sending a mystery box to someone they have never met is heartwarming. I don't have a wish list. OK I wish I do not receive pickled herring. If its in your box to send and you have my name can you please feed it to your cat? dog? neighborhood skunk? other than that I am good togo.

also what are those gadgets like a bounce thingy? I use my self healing mat, ruler and my olfa roller and well, I am goodto go. I am truly not a gadget person. They make me .. nervous?too much of something else to take care of. Dork but true. Maybe its cause I have never tried most of them. Us backwooders don't have all that stuff. And survive. I miss the most: going into a quilt store.. Touching all that fabric, seeing the colors, patterns.. boy in my mind that is a candy store for grown ups.

off subject where do you go online for your fabric? I tend to go to ebay. Love Hancocks of Paducah's physical catalogue. That is eye candy and I can read it (lol) and read it.. and.. porn for quilters.
