Ladybug what a nice package.

Okay Ladies,
I wanted YOU all to be the first of my 'on line' friends to hear this from me.......I just found out late today that I will be having my weight loss surgery (the sleeve) done NEXT Thursday the 16th! I am so excited about this. I will be down and out for a few weeks with not being able to lift much or drive (as long as I am on pain meds) - or do house cleaning.... :( but will be up and around soon, and loosing weight in the process!!! This is truly an answer to prayer.

I will need some ideas for handwork that I can do while resting up. I WILL have to get up and move around as much as possible but I hear that it takes a few weeks to get your strength back, so during this time I will ......................???? what??? Give me some ideas and suggestions.

This month is also my birthday on the 24th and I will go without cake and celebrate with a protein shake and be so glad that I have had this early bday present given to me! :) Can't tell Im excited can you? Has anyone else had 'the sleeve' surgery done?

I'd appreciate your prayers for me on the 17th as hubby is out of state and I will be going to the hospital by myself. Thanks ladies.

LaQuita, congratulations on your new start. I will keep you in my prayers. This sounds like one heck of a terrific good thing. And cake is so over rated. Living? definetely not over rated. Excellent choice! I hand marked squares before I was hospitalized and did two twin tops by hand, simple stitching to put the rows together. I was able to just reach into my bag and work from first the bed, then couch then finally machine. I liked knowing I was doing something good too. Keep your table set up so you dont have heavy lifting. You will be amazed how quick docs want you moving regardless of your surgery.

THAT package you received dear swapparoo with all those lovelies.. check that label again. ARE you sure it wasnt misdelivered? it sounds like such a wonderful box. I will let this go ..ladies/men make sure you get the name on right next time its ..ELI ah heck.. fine I will just sit here and stare at the car keys thinking control yourself the mule has not arrived and heck its 1 a.m. guess the post office IS closed.. shoot. thats fine, only 20 plus days left in the month not long at all. Winter in Syberia, probably longer. Barely.

Long story short I was in an accident an 80 something year old lady
ran a red light, and hit us.

Oh yeah SP heads up your package is being mailed TODAY!
I am taking it to work with me and the mail carrier will pick
it up when he comes by.

Now to the SP who has my name.

IF by chance you mailed your package to me and I do not
get it today; it will be Sunday before I can send you and Lori
the pm's that are needed.

Hopefully I will be able to log on this weekend, but if not I will
talk to you all when I return from my mini vacation (4 days).

My SP's package was delivered at 7:29 am yesterday. Maybe she will open it. Maybe not.
