This is a monthly secret pal swap. There is a sign up every month, and you can
choose whether or not to participate each month. You will get a different partner each month, and the person you send to will may be different than the person you receive from. Failure to send your package after signing up will be cause to be banned from all future swaps. Please do not sign up if you cannot fulfill your obligation. Have fun and be creative!

After receiving your Secret Pal’s details, go to work and put together a package with something you think your pal would like. There is a $15.00 limit on this swap that does not include what you have in your stash. (This does not include shipping) Most swappers do not mind like-new stash items. Please send items you would like to receive. Do not send smelly, holey, or stained fabric. You will need to send me (hav4boys) a PM when mailing and receiving. This way I can keep my records straight. Also send a PM to your SP thanking them. This is an important part of participating. It lets your secret pal know you got their package.

Please take pictures and post in group as everyone likes to see what you get.

Packages need to be mailed out by August 19th, this is a Firm deadline. All International mailings must be mailed by July 10th Firm. If you know that you cannot mail by that date, Please Do Not Sign Up.

For international mailing it is very important that you mark your parcel as a 'Gift' on the Customs Declaration (there's a box you can check). Also, the value should be $10 only (even if you send diamond necklace). The person receiving the package is liable for Import Duty, Tax and a Handling fee. This can cost the person receiving as much as $40.

Padded envelopes are much cheaper to send compared to small boxes. These can be ordered free of charge from the USPS website.

I will not be participating this month as I have so much planned. We will be in Arkansas looking for a home. We want to buy now so when I retire in two years we are good to go. I bought all of the gifts for my secret pal and plan to mail them next week! I'm doing the Minnesota quilt shop hop and it the process of visiting a ton of shops, found the perfect fabric for my pal!

My package arrived from Gaijin today - a week to get from the US
to the UK is pretty good going!

I can’t send a pic at the moment as I’m in the middle of switching phone network providers and it seems to have caused some issues with my phone 🙈 I’ll try in a day or two.

However, it was a truly wonderful package. A FQ bundle from my favourite fabric designer and a beautiful table runner pattern to go with it. Some Kaffe FQs, some Zip charms for the bags that I make, a duffle bag pattern, a toy for my cat, a tea-towel, toothbrushes (because who doesn’t need a new toothbrush?!) and some magazines to read - thank you so much

My bad, I have been so busy getting ready for a big bathroom renovation that I somehow forgot to subscribe to this thread to keep up with everyone! My package is going out tomorrow, promise!!!
And I received a HUGE box of goodies today from BrendaK!! My, it's Christmas!! I received so much, I doubt I can list it all, so I'm attaching two photos that shows just about everything, except the licorice because my mom ran off with it before I could take a photo. Brenda, thank you SO much, this is very special! And special thanks for the lighted seam ripper, I have been looking for one and this is perfect!!! So, here's the huge haul! Thank you thank you!!!

I have to apologize to my Secret Pal, Anna Quilts. I received your package on Thursday, tried to post a message on Friday but was having internet problems, then got picked to be on a one day jury trail. Yesterday was spent helping family out.

So here's what I received from Anna - Vintage cookbooks, a nice pair of scissors, bobbin cases with lids, cute red, white & blue fabric, reusable shopping bag that folds up and fits in your purse or bag, little square of beeswax, soap, a little notepad, red buttons, cool peace & love printed fabric (will use some of this to wrap my patchouli soaps) and chocolate.

Thank you so much for everything. I love sending and receiving this packages.

The package was full with a Jody Houghton Design Kit for me to make.
