Autumn 2016 Postage Stamp (PS) Squares Swap-Sign ups close 9/15/16
 

This swap is for 1.5" squares in sets of 50 different 100% cottons. (One set = 1 each of 50 fabrics). Please send what you'd be happy to receive. Limit of 20 sets per swapper.

*Please send me a PM to sign up.

*Please use quality 100% quilting cottons only. No flannel, homespun, blends, etc. If in doubt of fiber content, leave it out.

*All sets do not need to be identical. Dig into your stash. :)

*Do make sure to trim off selvages before cutting your squares. Also try to be accurate in your cutting.

*Please double check that your sets have at least 50 DIFFERENT fabric squares in each. We don't want to short change anyone.

*It works great to put squares sets in small snack size baggies. Be sure tolabel each baggie with your name, board name, etc.

*Sign-ups close Sept. 15th, 2016. Sets are due in my hands by Sept. 27th, 2016. I will swap them, and get them in the mail soon after.

*For return postage, send in $6.80 in cash, stamps, or a USPS money order for a padded flat rate envelope. I can supply these for you.

I have 60 new fabrics. I prefer to cut for 1.5" swaps then 2.5" swaps so that I do not send duplicates to same size swaps. What fabric remains is stored to use in my own projects. Looking forward to more participants in this swap to share my stash with!

I love the idea of postage stamp swaps, but 1.5" is too small for me. I'm working on a scrappy double Irish chain with 2" squares right now. Is there any way in the future to organize a swap including this size? I would be really interested:)

I have yet to see a 2" swap on this board. I love 2"ers, also. Wonder what the postage to you would be for 500 squares with no repeats?

Ok ladies---we have a whopping 6 of us playing. Some of you have already mailed. I will post when I have received your packages. :)

I'll be sending only 10 sets. I don't mind duplicates or getting mine returned. Wonder what happened to all our previous swappers? :(
