Just re-read the rules. Thanks, Jaba.

Will take another picture on a neutral background and show everyone.

Those are awesome Ronda! Are they all paper pieced?

Here are 2 samples to check out . . . the first still needs borders and the second one needs to be scaled down (I misread the directions and got confused because it wound up as a 14-1/2" block).

Not too sure on the fabric choices - just playing with the new patterns, but will use these in my Fall Leaves quilt from this swap. :D

I wrote one of my favorite embroidery sites and asked if she was going to be designing any leaves in the near future and she thanked me for the request and said she would be working on some soon. Yeah

love all the blocks

I've been looking at patterns for a while now, have some have to projects so doubt I will get to join in on the fun, but I had a thought to share for those looking for different patterns. Have you thought about some of the heart patterns. Most have a solid square in the corner w/ the heart indention part that would be easy to modify into a pieced "stem" and it would look like an aspen'ish leaf. I've seen several one w/ log cabin assembly, one w/ a "braid" construction and one w/ a 9 patch of 2 colors and each "rounded heart part" one of those two colors.
