Hello Margaret,

The Del. Conf. shows that you received your blocks today (after you had posted this message). You are welcome. No one got more than one of your own blocks back in each set.

Del. Conf. numbers show that Anna D., Margaret H., and Paula J.'s were delivered today.

Ruth R. yours were sent Priority Mail, but for some reason they took the scenic route and went to Iowa. When I checked tracking tonight it showed that your blocks arrived at a Maine PO. Hopefully you will get them Sat.. Jan your blocks showed tracking and they were in Colorado PO making their way to Wyoming.

Veronika, I have your blocks all packaged up and will be taking them to the PO in the morning so they can head back home to Germany.

I am so happy my blocks came in! Thank you to Susan, her DH and many members in this swap for helping.

I did get a good amount of doubles and or very similar blocks and did not get one of the ones back from one of my own sets, pink/green annaquilts. Last one in the pictures. I would love to have one of those atleast.

If you got a double of some would you maybe consider trading for one or more? Just let me know which one you'd like. You can send one block with one to two stamps in a regular envelop. Or if you want to make some more batik blocks and swap me out some of my doubles I would really appreciate it. Just pm me.

Anna sorry about the doubles, but there was only 15 swappers with most only sending 1 set, and 1 person sent 4 sets, and several sent 3 set, and I think only 2 set double sets. I should have done the swap up in sets of 6 instead of 12. so there would have been more patterns to mix around.

Also, meant to say hubby has went to the PO to mail Veronika's package :)

Thank you very much, and I really appericate you keeping me in your thoughts. I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers. They are comforting. I had my hubby and kids set me up a little sewing area in the dining room and my mom is cutting out some pieces for me, and I can sew here and there. I am going stir crazy, and need to sew. It also helps to pass the time while I am waiting on results. I just didn't have the engery or breath to climb up and down the basement stairs to get to my sewing machine.

Susan no worries. I am very happy to have the blocks back. I am just hoping some one will be willing to swap a couple out if they have doubles or want to have more variety by making some more. Looking for a win, win. I was planning to use all in one quilt for a special friend and there are mostly too many of the same color way and or pattern. Anyone ?

Got blocks back today. Annaquilts and everyone....I will post what I received in my album soon. I got several of 3 and 4 of the same block, which some of you may not have gotten, more than willing to send back and forth to try for a little more variety. Also only got 2 back of mine instead of 4, if someone got 2 of 1 I'd love 1 back. Didn't think about making an extra, should have because now I don't have the material. Anna I only got 1 of your blocks and not the 1 you're looking for sorry. Anyway will try to get them posted later today and if anyone wants any my duplicates let me know. Jan, as Anna had suggested in a PM, you can try the trading post. With you sending in 48 blocks (4 sets) the best was done considering there was only 15 swappers. Sorry I couldn't help it that we didn't get more, and that the ones who had to drop out did. I thought when I doubled checked yours that you had received one of your blocks from each set that you sent in. If not I am sorry...

Yeah!! My blocks arrived safely in Monday's mail. Thank you so much, Susan for getting them swapped and to your family for helping you. The "Batiks" are all so pretty, nice job everyone. Thanks to all of you---- I will try to get them posted soon.

Just thought I'd do an update and show you what I ended up doing with the blocks I received and traded for. After making a few additional ones I'll end up with 4 quilts, 2 are large baby quilts or can be used as table toppers, 1 after I add borders will end up queen size and then I had some duplicates still left so am making a lap quilt or twin size. I'll end up using them all. Thanks, I think they turned out pretty good. Got to do something with the last 1 though, maybe I'll have to make more blocks to split them up, not sure yet. It'll have to go to the back burner for awhile, I've got 4 more Xmas quilts to make for a customer, I've got 8 hanging to be quilted so I've got to quit sewing so much and do some quilting to get caught up. Glad you're in the next Boom 8 with us, your blocks are always nice (matched seams and the right size) makes it a real pleasure receiving them.Think its probably time to wrap this swap up, glad it's over.
