I'm about to be the fussy host here but please bear with me: construction-wise the goal is 12 1/2 inches square, 1/4 seam allowance and neat and clean blocks. Thank you. And this is just a reminder because everything looks wonderful so far.

Now onto to the beaming host: LOVE the blocks that have already been shown. I think this swap is starting out very well. Thank you!!! The batik with the black is a beauty and the fish block is cool. And the one for Jaba with the lavender, I really like the contrast. Lovely how the floral is so well highlighted. Great blocks Lstew and sewbizgirl :)

I guess I wasn't meant to create today. My iron is being a goober today. It won't heat up and you know you can't get nice crisp blocks without a nice hot iron.

This is a block I just finished. I was going to put the last bit of heat on it and NO heat.

Another pretty block, Lstew... I love the batiks you got to work with. Sounds like your iron died. Mine did that not long ago.
