There's a reason I tell on myself, there seems to be some newbies here and they need to know that even though we oldies but goodies can put out some great looking blocks, we run into problems as well. The difference is we also figure out ways to make the blocks work even though they aren't perfect or look anything near what they started out to be but for the most part they still look pretty good. So adding extra parts when needed is OK or changing things up in mid stream is good to. It all just has to look good in the end and the main thing is it has to measure the right size. So have fun, if you screw some up, just learn to think your way out of it.

The newbies in this swap aren't necessarily new to quilting... just to the swap.

I'm drooling. Gonna have to clean my screen again! Super duper in my book!

Thanks ladies. Terri I have no idea how long it has taken to this point, but many many hours. Kwilt, I have English paper pieced it, and it is mostly fussy cut. However it can be hand sewn and inklingo has correct sizes and shapes if you use that I have heard about a few brave souls attempting it on machine!!!!

GramE your block is finished. I tried to post in last night but QB wasn't playing nice. It is a variation on Lucy Boston. The medallion is epp, then machine appliqued to the background.

It's still not playing nice, let's see if I outsmarted it.

WOWWEEE! You have raised the fussy cutting bar to a new level, lady! What a unique block. Amazing. My cheap apricot colored fabric quilt is going to be spectacular. Thank you.
