The middle block is called Carpenter Square..VERY easy to make, just blocks and half triangles. I have 5 others made in various colors that I was going to put into a quilt but need a couple more done to make it the right size. Have to find some different colors since my stash had grown since I made the others...I thought stashes were suppose to go DOWN...not UP...mine seems to multiply! :)

AHHHHH finally ... I might get to make a few blocks this week. I am NOT going to work on the remodel as I need a break from it.

I do believe though I am going to be the "blah" person after all these creative blocks. I tend to pick a block that I LOVE and share that happy block with most everyone. I have one in mind, now just to see if it is going to work for most requests.

I do have a couple "different" ones for the novelty fabric of space and sea so I hope that will work out.

Wish me luck this week doing some blocks as that dang laundry still has to be worked on :( and my mom (arggghhhh) is showing up later in the week with her icky little dog....(sorry it's "pad" trained and I detest that...especially for my new carpet) .

I got to work on my Boom 16 quilt. Found out I didnt have near enough blocks to do what I invisioned so I had to change things around...Still havent decided if I want an outter border on it or not. One thing I learned from the past booms is I need to send the SAME fabric to both groups if Im in both to have enough blocks to work with! :) The 2nd quilt from Boom 16 is due back to me next Saturday..YEAH..It was the blue fabric and I had used it in another boom so Had enough blocks for a good size quilt. My granddaughter got a new bedroom suite this weekend..guess what...HER quilts dont fit the new bed! :) I should have seen that coming! LOL

Glad I'm not the only one who detests 'pad training'... real dogs pee outside! :D

GramE this was supposed to be a different block but after I cut out the middle and the large triangles I realized it needed two more colors besides the additional background color. Worked with what was already cut out and here is your block

It's the reason I had to get new carpet... we locked her in the bedroom and the *&^%$&( dug a hole in the doorway all the way to the sub flooring ....about 6" x 18".....
