Another quilt block today Kass this one id for you and I swear that is aqua and a good match for your paint chips...genius by the way.

Just went back and was looking at all the pictures. Showbiz your dress would really be in now with the pink sash.
hubby and I were supposed to go to Charleston and Myrtle Beach for our honeymoon. Hurricane Hugo hit the Carolinas the day before. We were at the Travel agency in a near panic. No idea on where or what to do. Ended up flying into West Palm Beach Florida, rented a car and just started driving. Two years later we went to Charleston and Mrtle Beach, couldn't believe the devastation and clean up that was still going on from Hugo. We loved South Carolina |
The name I have for this block makes no sense. I saw it online and it was called "19 windows". Good thing I drew it on graph paper because I have never found it again!
I really did love having blonde hair, but got tired of the amount of work it took to maintain it. Breck for Blondes was absolutely the best shampoo. It just made hair shimmer. I kept using it even when I stopped being a blonde until they stopped making it. It came out again a few years ago, but it was not the same.

Unfortunately I got married at 16 with no pictures...only lasted 3-4 years...then again at 32. Didnt keep any pictures of that one either..I guess Im meant to be alone with my grandkids! :)

Funny but my daughter also wanted to add a pink sash on her wedding gown... (2007). Hers had long wide tails that extended all the way down the train, and widened as they got closer to the hem. I had to make that! And also bustle it.... This is her wedding: [ATTACH=CONFIG]559805[/ATTACH] Her husband is English. I made every single dress in this picture except the wedding gown... which I altered, bustled, added the sash, and made a veil and garter to go with it. [ATTACH=CONFIG]559806[/ATTACH] The two guys peeking over the groom's shoulders are my sons. |
