In the mean time, here is my patch pal giraffe. It is for my daughter's best friend that she has known for over 20 years. Originally I did an "I spy" quilt, but I could tell my daughter really did not like it so this one will be a surprise for her and her friend. And, I have to admit that I did not like it all too well either. I have 2 weeks to get it quilted and bound before the baby shower.

Bibliostone, I love your giraffe. You don't by any chance have a pattern for a fox do you? I have a greatgrand due in December and his Mom wants a fox.

I havent gotten all of the patch pals back from the quilters yet. All done but the turtle to send to quilters...I think there are 19 patterns so far. I just wanted a project to take up some time and to donate to a hospital for babies..when I get all them back Ill post them all in my album. so far my favorite is the lion...but the flamingo is cute too. Ill email you tomorrow Libster. Thank you for liking them! :)

The quilt is all together now, just have to do a little more quilting on the top and bottom rows. I have the "bones" of the quilting, now I'm going to try some fmq in those rows. Then binding and it will be 100% done.
