Moving along with my blocks. Having some trouble being inspired. When will that fabric speak to me? Hmmm, some may end up being simple because that is what I am seeing in them. Not to disappoint, but fabric and me are having issues with each other.
Loving the blocks you are showing everyone. They are inspirational!:cool::thumbup:

Simple blocks are usually classics. If mine is one giving you trouble, feel free to make me a simple block. :)

QM, simple is different to different people. One block everyone says is simple is the square in a square. Well not for me that darn block is nothing but a problem for me. Just can't get the measurements right. I went through the pictures of my blocks and I don't have a Churndash. If that is a simple block for you, would love one of them

QM, since JaniceMcC has not posted a finished picture from you to my grouping, I bet mine is one of those giving you trouble. Simple is fine! By the way Janice, I am about to send you my tracking number because I made it to the post office today!

I have a hard time with that one also.
I think the hardest is trying to match a block up with some of the fabric. It just isn't saying which one it wants. I will figure it out I am sure. Broken Dishes seems to be a caller. Trying not to do the snails trail. Tired of that block. Need some fun. Using my Accquilt so will look in their book and see what fun ones are in there again. Will be watching my "scant" 1/4" as you would in Quilters Cache. Hey I should go there and see what I can see.

I have spent so much time in Quilter's Cache. They have a TON of 12" (finished) blocks. Marcia Hohn has created a really great resource.

Just sent an email with my tracking #.

Quilter's cache is great .... watch for scant and I do mean scant 1/4" seams.

Dresden's are great. Heck I love a "simple" 16 patch (because I can't do that many straight seams, lol).

Classic blocks really appeal to me ... gosh I guess I like them all :)

I like this one also for something a little different http://www.generations-quilt-pattern...html#TheBlocks

So many of you have sent your blocks in to Janice!!! I'm such a slacker, lol. This group has definitely got me trying new squares and techniques to make your squares! Thank you.
