Drum roll please - my first completed block!! The keys are a bit wonky - didn't realize until I was done. I had so many ideas for the fabric and this is what it ended up as. The black material had little black flowers on it so I used the back as it is for a man!! Enjoy

Remember our block size is 12 1/2 inches square with good seam allowances and it's neat and tidy. Be sure to press your block, slap a square on it to make sure it's to size and also to trim up any lose threads that are sticking out. Look at the back too for any thread nests or whatever may be lurking underneath that doesn't belong. Thank you!

Oh, my goodness! I think it's perfect!!!! You started off with a bang, didn't you!

Great block!! I like your improvisation of your fabric for the black keys, too.

I have had a math accident I hope you ladies can help me with. I miss calculated on Nanakathy's fabric. I need 2 pieces that are 2.5 by 3 inch (or one that I can get those two from)

Here are two more I've done. First is for Billi, Whirling Geese. Nobody is going to top Travelingramma's block.
Second block is for LJDugas, Folktale Circle. I love this fabric.
