I found the cats on Etsy! It's an Alexander Henry fabric called "Rockin' Rolls Tea". Must be a newly released fabric, because it sells for $11 a yard. So cute!

Yes Kass - me too! Of course my mind doesn't put block and songs together !!

GramE, your block is next up. It's a Square in a Star. Hope your friend likes the block I've made for her.

Yay! I figure the quilt store in Pensacola will have that fabric and I will buy it when I return to Alabama. I like it enough that I will treat myself even though it's $11 a yard .

Miss Libster, your block for GramE looks so pretty and dainty!

I like that block, Libster. Feminine and pretty.

Thank you, Jayne.... it sure is!

Sorry about the summer school. Don't they know that cuts into your quilting and travel time?! :D

I, for one, would love to see your T shirt quilt when you get it done. Please post a picture! I've made a few and they are a big pain, but always turn out pretty cool.

Sewbiz - I will definitely post a picture... stay tuned! As for travel time, I leave the last day of summer school for a sailing trip to Tahiti, so I don't feel like I have too much room to grip, but I still will. I have such a wonderful group of kids in my class, it has actually been an absolute joy so far.

Libster can’t believe it but that is the same pattern I cut out for Gram E. Bet you were thinking like me on how to keep her floral stripes straight. Luckily I have the floral in a different spot then you.

Oh, Terri, I picked that pattern for exactly that reason! Are you using blue in yours too? LOL Great minds and all that stuff, right?? Maybe GramE can use them as cornerstones.

Libster, that is a BeaUtiFuL BloCk!!!

Jayne, Sailing to Tahiti, that would be amazing!!! I have been to Tahiti and it was a beautiful trip!! But sailing.... that is very cool!! What type of sailboat is it? It would have to be one of those large cruisers. ??
