I'm glad to hear DH is out of surgery. Must have been a bit worrying to have it take longer but the doc gave encouraging news. Let us know how he's doing. Take care!

Very good news for both you and your husband, Terri!
I went to LQS today for some wow for Libster's blocks. There was a pretty blue and yellow floral fabric that was calling my name too, so I got some for sashing and borders for this BOOM quilt. :) |
Glad to here your hubby is doing fine and praying for good results from the biopsy

Boom Biz - Blocks due 4/11
Good morning, Sooners. Quick reminder, we are about half way through the Sooner swap. Blocks are due in my hands on April 11. I'm absolutely not rushing you but I do want you to keep an eye on your schedule and on the calendar. Make sure you are at a good pace to finish in time to ship so blocks arrive on time. No late blocks please. Thanks!

Mona, thank you for your Odds and Ends block! Such a pretty blue you chose! I have learned I don't get much, if any, sewing done during the weekends, but I'm going to make a point of making sewing time tomorrow! |
Another great block Zozee
Mona, way to go, 3 more lovely blocks |

The first one is traditional. Cheesehead, I was able to use your red. Hope you like hearts. Hi Terri, this improv block is named Tumbles of 2019 since you have had so much going on. |

Darcy - love the heart in the middle of that block.
|
NZQuilter, lol, I missed the time change once, but it was falling back time. I ended up arriving at work (I worked at a boat dealership on the weekends) an hour earlier than normal. I thought traffic seemed light on the way in but until I pulled into the empty parking lot, I was clueless. Nobody really noticed anyway, as I was usually one of the first to arrive.
|
Thank you Darcy Shannon, love the heart, it looks great in the quilt block you made for me!

Nice blocks boomers, I especially like the star glow block, I haven't seen that before.
|
I agree with Kass great blocks ladies and I love the Starglow
|
Thank you for the pretty block, Hav!
|
Hav, these are beautiful blocks. Star Glow reminds me of the Fireworks block. I want to try that one! And I love the softer colors for SBG’s block. Both are eye-catching.

Wow... amazing how I look at a picture of a block and see something I need to fix in SBG. Glad I caught the top middle needs to be redone.

Starglow is really pretty!
Here's a practice block I made for my quilt. It's called Wagon Tracks from generationquilting.com. One of you will receive a block like this made in your focus fabric. Who will it be? Teehee. |

I like the Wagon Tracks, Zozee. I made a very similar one for Libster!
Thought you all might like to see what else I do besides quilting. This is a Red Riding Hood doll I just finished for my daughter's birthday. In a stand: |
