Thank you for the eye candy, Cheese... so pretty!

Great blocks ladies! Terri all your blocks are beautiful, each one is better than the next!
Kass, glad you are happy with the block. My main focus for your block this time was to keep all the feathers going in one direction. I probably spent more time hunting down a suitable pattern than actually sewing the block together! Janice, great job on Pamela's block. I love that fabric and haven't been able to cut it up yet;). |
CH great blocks, and I absolutely love that b/w fabric in the bonus block!!!!!
Janice, those colors in Pamela's block just sing together and great fussy cutting. |
Kass, I brought out all the glitzy fabric that matched her fabric. The black has silver metallic threads creating the fabric pattern, it just looks white in the picture, and the white fabric has little silver dots that sparkle. All in all I like how the block came together with the exception of the picture I took, the block looked wonky. Will take another picture and see if it comes out better.
|
Do you have the selvidge on it? Can you post manufacture / name information. That fabric would be amazing repeat cut.

Here’s my block for PamelaOry. I love the little birds so I didn’t want to cut them if I didn’t have to. Your creamsicle fabric is in the 4 corners surrounding the middle square. The other peach is batik and I promise the wow is not fluorescent despite its appearance in the photo. :)
Hope it suits you. |

Several of you are getting the same block. In Boom 20 I got really bogged down with over planning, so I decided to simplify. I couldn't get the names to show up between the pictures. These are for Terriamn, Darcyshannon, Marcialee, MJPEncinitas, NanaKathy55, TheMerkleFamily, TravelingGramma, and Vikkim. |
You know you have a problem when you are counting repeats in calico!!!!! lol lol lol And I was going to do it, but sadly not enough repeats.

I knew you'd find something cool to do, Kass, if you couldn't do repeats. Love that block for NanaK. That center motif fabric is really pretty. Is it pieced, too?
|
Kass..thank you for my block..I love it!
|
Kass, gorgeous block
|

Just went to the weebly picture board and had a look. Thank you AnnieQuilts for the pretty multicolored ribbon block. Jaba thank you for the purple ombré block for my mom. I think I have that same fabric. VikkiM thank you for the blue block for the boys’ quilt.
Finished a sewing deadline and posted today, so I came here as a reward to see the recent additions. Terriamn, your blocks for Pam and Nana are great choices. MJP, I like that block with the striking blue center. Cheesehead, I like the yellow and black for Jayne W. And the last one I saw was Jaba’s Block by Kassandra, nice framing of focus fabric. I recently downloaded an app that should help with photo size and will post some blocks soon. |
MJP, what an incredible block for Bibliostone!
Terri, great blocks for Pamela and NanaKathy! How is the new medication working for you? Are you seeing much improvement? |
Cheesehead meds are working. While sewing today I was being thankful I could actually sit at the sewing machine and enjoy sewing. Even the itching is getting better, hoping the blisters will start drying out soon.

I've been sewing all this cold day. I have Marcia's block finished. I also pieced a fussy cut center for me, not for this boom quilt though, after I fussy cut NanaK's centers this morning, that fabric had some very sparse edges (holey) since it is one of my favorite fussy cutting fabrics, so I wanted to smooth the edges a little before putting it back, so I made this from the in between pieces, it doesn't have a back yet still trying to decide on the backing fabric.
Here is Marcia's And here is the center I made for me |
