Oh my gosh! My 1st gorgeous block :) Thank you so very much TG - I love it! Perhaps Kaffe fabrics, particularly these large flowers, may seem to be a challenge but my idea was to just cut them up and add in whatever you wish - a Kaffe Scrappy of sorts? With Kaffe - anything goes!

Terri - will get the blender going! This block is for theMerkelFamily. I have named it hot wind. As I was finishing picking all the paper out of the back, the furnace went on , and the pieces went fluttering all over! Kaffe patterns are my nemesis. Its beautiful, but I am OCD and have to push myself to work with the colors and patterns. But thanks to the booms, I am overcoming it, one block at a time. Hope it is what you wanted.

Well I was suppose to work today, but on my way in my car over heated. I was able to limp it back after it cooled a bit. It has a "Dr's" appt later, but it gave me an extra sewing day. I started on (and finished) MJP's block.
I was able to get 8 repeats from the F8 and was able to get this block I noticed after getting the 45' triangles cut that I had two stacks of half 45' triangles that were mirror imaged, so what's a fussy cutting addict such as myself suppose to do, just ignore that!!!!!!!! Well of course not. Here is the second block I was able to get from the half triangles. I promise this is purple, almost exactly the color of purple in the print, but my inside lights and flash always turn purple blue. |

It's so interesting to see all of the variations of the same design, Kass. It really showcases the fabrics so well yet looks so different every time - fantastic, again!

Another good idea! I do think I want to showcase the strawberries the most so will keep thinking about this one..
