Well, WMUTeach, they are everywhere around here. The grey ones are more common but we’ve got plenty of the whites. And chipmunks. There’s a pair that scurry at Mach one around our yard. I just love them. Next swap, Chipmunks???

They’re all here! Way to go, Squirrels! All are on time! I’m half done packing them up to ship tomorrow. Barring anything happening with the printer, they should be good to go. Woo hoo!

Reminder that since we don’t have a full 20 people in the swap, everyone will be receiving duplicates of a few fabrics. Those in two groups will see more than that across both groups. Yes, this is how it always works.

I can hardly believe this cool, wonderful, breezy afternoon. All the windows and doors are thrown open and it’s relatively dry. No AC today. Tomorrow am is supposed to be 55 degrees. I can hardly wait to do a short walk. My knee is only up for a short, non-hilly stroll but I'll gladly take the improvement.

So that’s it for now. I’m off to print up labels and finish sealing the packages. Have a terrific evening.

Oh, here’s one for Cheesehead. I hope you like it!

What a lovely, sweet little block for Cheesehead. Perfect complementary color to show off the floral fabric.

The mitten is supposed to be in the 40's tonight! Burr. High blue skies but cool fall breezes. My windows are open but as the sun goes down, they will close. I am considering a mug of raspberry hot chocolate tonight. Will be looking for my package this weekend? Time to dig in stitch.

This is already difficult and f8s haven’t even gone out. I won’t be able to start sewing until mid September and I already frustrated!
loving the blocks. Love the pink and floral- it makes it pop out.
today was in 60’s as will be tomorrow and then goes back up to normal.
I haven’t seen many squirrels in northern NH. Now turkeys are all over the roads and driving the dogs crazy lately!

Take heart, TG, the way time goes these days, mid-September will be here before you know it. And we'll be anxious to see what you come up with!

Packages are in the mail. You should be receiving your tracking numbers soon if you have not yet gotten them. When your packages arrive, be sure to confirm the count at 19 per group.

Had a nice walk this morning. It was 55 degrees. Woo hoo.

Beautiful blocks Janice, you are getting all our creative juices flowing.

Cool here also but supposed to get hot and muggy. Not my favorite weather

Decided I definitely didn’t like the setting sashing I was doing on my candy blocks and removed them all, sure wish I could have remembered what the sashing was on the picture of the quilt I liked so much. Going with a simple 2 sided version. Hoping to add 4 more squares today.

We are hosting a shrimp boil tomorrow at the lake for 10. Hubby does 90% of the cooking for it. I am the runner, table setter etc. He loves putting this little summer event together. We bring the sausage and shrimp back with us from Texas and our friends provide us with the fresh corn on the cobb and baby potatoes. Should be a fun evening

Terriamn, your shrimp boil sounds fantastic. All that lovely food with a lake setting and a chef! Enjoy!!!

Today’s my annual mammogram. Has everyone had theirs??? Before that though, I’m going out to lunch at a local Golf Club. They’ve got a very good restaurant so I expect we’ll sit outside and eat and enjoy the weather. Our white squirrel just showed up to have a snack at the bird feeder. Seems she likes what we serve at our birdie restaurant.
