I have six quilts to put binding on. This weeks goal is to finish them. For some reason I always stall the binding part. Anyone else do the same?

I just finished cutting up my fat eights for this BOOM. It is time for a Halloween quilt. Think "Monster Mash" fun. I was raised on Lon Cheney and Bela Lugosi type movies. Love them. Lon Chaney and Bela Lugosi! Reminds me of Saturdays as a child. At noon, my mother, sister and I would watch “Creature Features”, scary movies that are timid by today’s standards. It was a fun ritual many weekends. Thanks, Ibex, for triggering the memory.

Janice -- did you see that walmart has a dvd collection of all those movies? I got it last year. If you don't already have it, look for it nearer to Halloween.

The attached photo includes all the fabrics I am sending. There are two of everything (except one) to make 19 total. I have no color preferences or style preferences. Applique and/or pieced are both perfectly great options.

I cut the fat eights to 11 x 19" because sometimes I am just wonky in my cutting of these fat eights. I do not need any of the fabric back.

All the fabrics you all are picking are wonderful! I am looking forward to getting started! Now to add my note and labels and get these to Janice. I am so excited to be BOOMing again! Great to see you all!

That white squirrel in the BOOM 32 sign up board is amazing! I had squirrels with blondish tails compared to the regular brown squirrels but none of them are around my feeder anymore. I'd love to have a white one come and hang out!

Well, I am squireling around in my studio. I just starched and pressed the Moda Bella Gray fat 1/8 s. I am working on a Farm Girl Vintage style quilt for my daughter, except she wanted a gray background. She is the herd's man over a big goat dairy in Oregon. So ofcoursed she is enamored with the Lori Holt pieced farm quilts.

No idea what people are taking about with these movies, grew up in Europe, but I will figure it out by the time I need it.

Hi squirrels! Here are my fabrics for this one. I’m asking for controlled 2-color scrappy palette for the blue and white, I’m including 12.5 ish X 17”+ of the white on white and scraps of the 2 blues for reference. If possible I’m asking for blocks that create an x or use the corners like 4 or 8 point stars, log cabins, courthouse steps, 9-patches, pineapple, or anything with 4 patches in the corners, etc. I’m going to use 9 patch corner stones with the sashing so it makes an “x” ish motif when pieced together. There should be thousands of blocks with a strong 4 corner anchor or color. I think it will look cool when pieced together. My second fabric will be much easier, it’s going to be this Big Bang Theory print. My sweet son found nothing in the store he liked so it is ordered and should arrive this week. I’ll be asking for a matching white background and anything goes (use colors in the print). Hugs!

What fun!! Love Farm girl and made a quilt with it. Love Bazinga and will be thinking about a good Big Bang item for him.
