TG that is a long time to be away from home but sounds like you have had a wonderful time

Feeling a little better. It’s 54 here this morning, pretty darn chilly but sitting in the sunshine trying to enjoy my cup of coffee. Yesterday I read an easy reading book, in the evening I made dinner a version of fried rice, sat by the fire and even made a s’more. Have to admit I cheated on my fire. Used lighter fluid. Holy cow what a difference, fire took right off. Wishing For a small fire this morning.

Everyone have a great day

Hoping to get some time to sew today. Looks like it may happen.

The last couple days have been a bit rough. My husband said his knee was hurting and hot. I thought nothing of it as he never said anything again. Yesterday when he got home from work, he was changing and I saw his knee. Swollen, purple, and hot to touch. Off to the ER. They thought it was a knee infection. Turns out it is CPPD (also known as pseudogout) Apparently, calcium crystals have grown in his joint. Certainly, glad it was not the joint infection. Just seems like we are hopping from calamity to calamity.

I hope his recovery will be swift. Sometimes it’s one thing after another and that just makes everything feel all the worse. Sorry this is happening.

Sorry for your hubby, HAV. What do they do to treat that? Does it require surgery to clean the crystals out of his knee? Sounds very painful.

We had a disaster at the Memphis house last night. My son got home to find the water heater (in the attic) had burst and flooded through the floor and down into the living room! My son in law has a restoration business, where they dry out flooded homes, rip out damaged sheetrock, etc., so he went over with his drying equipment and got the restoration started. SIL and DS will install a new water heater this weekend. Never a dull moment! I'm glad I'm home in Mississippi and the guys will handle this.

Thank you for my block, A2P! Love it. The fabric was given to me by our dear RebaQuilts. Don't know where she found it. All the ladies by Lorelei are fun!

Your little ghost block for Ibex is so cute too!

Hers another one for Ibex's Monster Mash. The eye is supposed to be a button but did not want to add one to another's quilt.

SBG, the gave him naproxen and recheck in two days. His iron is high so be needs to donate blood and take magnesium. Time will tell.

I am planning on staying here for a long time. I had forgotten on just how much stash I had! I can’t imagine how I will incorporate what is in the motorhome into my home. But that goes on hold for now. Two days of unloading food and clothes is enough for now.
took our mutt to dog park which she remembered and found new friends, and a mud puddle. Had to give her a bath.
I needed some me time so played with different size Dresdens. Felt so good!! 😊
neighbors reconnecting
heat wave here in high 80s …. But dry
