Janice, love the puppy block, thanks. On Wednesday my tracking said it was in town and would be delivered on Thursday. It didn't come with our mail and now it says it will be delivered on Friday. Hope it isn't put off again. My son works for the post office and sometimes the trucks are so full they can't take it all. Sometimes they send out a separate truck that just delivers packages

Yippee! My package arrived and now trying to match up fabrics.

All2Pieces, I didn't see a note but there was a scrap of textured fabric. Did I miss a request?

Moon, No, A2P didn’t add a request as far as I could see. Let’s hope she sees this and replies.

edited to add that I emailed A2P for help.

Yep Nana. Lol.

So the nails are pretty ... pretty long and awkward when you had none ... which makes sewing a challenge. Hopefully I'll be used to them by the time fabrics arrive.

. I remember these days. I sometimes wish she would still do my nails. Going to a shop is costly.

Moon, love the nails. How fun.

Bismark is a 6 hour ride. We will probably drive 3 hours and stop for lunch. Then back on the road, 6 hours should be a walk in the park after the 25 hour ride from Texas. Her folks and siblings will arrive about 10 PM , we are filling in for them. Several different events starting at 4 PM on Friday. Can’t wait to see her and Bismark N.D. Have never been in that area and the only thing I know about it is it’s supposed to be flat and windy

Today’s goal was 2 blocks but when you cut or sew everything wrong it takes way much more time. I did get frustrated but just your average every day frustration not the kind to send me into a funk

. The block still looks great.

Pretty block, Terriamn. Sorry you had a rough piecing day. Tomorrow will be better! I'm glad you don't have a terribly long trip to ND. As you said, it's easy compared to the ride for TX.

I'm making a block about every other day which is much more slowly than usual. Now I'm selecting f8s that I consider tougher to work with, like those with large motifs. I've got one done but haven't taken pix yet. I'll try to post it tomorrow. I'm wondering what people find difficult. I've heard some not liking two color blocks, which of course I love to make.

Hope everyone gets their packages soon.

I also love working with two color blocks.

Here’s a block for Bibliostone’s puppy fabric, a friendship star none patch. That pup reminds me of my Ripley so I enjoyed working this one for you. I hope this is what you had in mind. I couldn’t cut up those pups.

. Great block, love the puppies.

What a fun block for Biblistone.

Guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. Played with my new ruler and was able to figure it out. Yeah

cowboy boots not happy with the block, not enough contrast

. These blocks look good too. Glad you figured out the ruler.

my package arrived today. Complete with 19 little packages x2. I will get started this weekend making blocks.

My package arrived but won’t be able to check them out till Sunday evening when we arrive home. Something to look forward to

Package delayed.....:(. But the optimist in me is going to use the time to finish another quilt top using my 2.5" squares. Yea, for a day of grace to finish a project before I fall into making "Bloomer" Boomer Blocks.

LAF2019 04-23-2026 05:20 PM

I received my package today. I was able to open it and admire the enclosed fabrics, but have not read instructions or considered any fabrics or blocks. Looking forward to the next phases!

Our mail never showed up today. Our mailman does that sometimes.... Surely my Bloom F8s will be here tomorrow!
