I'll have to update my spreadsheet and get back to you! By my last count I've received 27 blocks, I think!

hoppyfrog 01-03-2011 02:32 PM

Received a great block today from Reneebobby.

Still missing and I'm in no hurry.
mbogenpohl
new2quilting (April, just keep my fabric, no block necessary)
odessa quilts
quiltergirl80
dawson.tracy35

Thanks to all in boom 3.0. This has again been a fun swap. I won't be in 4.0 so I hope everyone has a great time.

kwiltkrazy 01-03-2011 03:41 PM

Quiltingturtle yours went out in the mail today.

Hi All,

I have photos of my most recently received blocks. Two have names by them, the other 3 have names, but I've mixed them up and don't know which one goes with who. Anyway, they are all beautiful and will fit nicely into my quilt. Thank you so much!

hugs, Jupiter

kwiltkrazy 01-03-2011 03:52 PM

Jupiter mine has the purple and green X through it

I also received a grown-up from ReneeBobby. Very, very nice.

moonrise 01-03-2011 07:09 PM

I received a block from megsann today! Very lovely and unique!

I also received a notice to pick up a certified item from "Bogenpohl", which I'm guessing is mbogenpohl. Looks like a signature is required. I'm unable to pick it up (can't stand very long due to a bad knee), but my husband will try to go get it ASAP. It may be a few days, because he works 12-hour shifts at night and has physical therapy 2-3 times a week. Looking forward to seeing the block.

KarenBarnes 01-03-2011 07:25 PM

According to my research of 156 pages and my poor notes, I think I am missing blocks from dawson.tracy35, kwiltcrazy, mbogenpohl, new2quilting, and quiltergirl80. If by some chance I've messed up on this please let me know! I'm not in any hurry and if it's too difficult please just send back the F8 and I'll make something. I've decided what to do with the remaining blocks so this will be my next project.

kwiltkrazy 01-03-2011 07:34 PM

What was your material Karen barnes? I only have two fabrics left, Bibliostane, and Norbana. Let me know your fabric, and I can tell you if I did it or what I did to it,

mbogenpohl 01-03-2011 08:26 PM

Moonrise, I'm so sorry about the signature required! I just wanted to make sure you received your block. If for some reason it's returned to me I will re-mail it with out signature required! So sorry about that.

No problem! Occasionally we're still up when the mail arrives, but most times we're already asleep. Being a night owl has lots of advantages (no traffic, peaceful, an extra $1 per hour on DH's check, no solicitors or politicians at the door (LOL! )), but has a few disadvantages too. Overall, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, though. :)

kwiltkrazy 01-03-2011 09:55 PM

I always thought that I was missing out on everything when I worked grave yard. Worked it for three years.

Jupiter 01-03-2011 11:42 PM

Nice work! Thanks for identifying it for me.

hugs, Jupiter

My hubby and I are retired, so schedules don't matter to us. I like to quilt and he has a hobby room for his little race cars. We both get more work done between 9pm and 1 am. lol... but no one says we can't sleep in to 9 am! lol

hugs, Jupiter

Moonrise, I really enjoyed working at the hospital on noc shift your right extra money and work is much easier no big dogs there and sleeping was awesome it was so quiet during the day at home. I hope you are able to get to the post office soon to get your block, I can't wait to see how you like it. More blocks being mailed out today for some of the other ladies. There coming ladies I'm trying to juggle blocks between my wife and mother duties which sometimes can get pretty busy with running to basketball games and church programs. I want to say I'm sorry once again for the blocks being late, but life happens to each of us that we don't have any control over.

fryguymoore 01-04-2011 08:42 AM

I LOVE grocery shopping at 1 or 2 am :) It is worth being sleepy all day to have no one in the store. Plus our store is so cool. To save money the lights in each isle are on motion sensors. Makes me feel like I am in a spotlight every time :)

I sent out 7 different colors of the same print. Yours was blue. I at least kept records to that point in time! :)

fryguymoore 01-04-2011 08:53 AM

You didn't happen to write down every block I received, did you????? I think I'd rather just be missing block than have to go through 156 pages.

Since I see no more Boom fabric in my house, I believe I have sent everyones blocks. They should have all been received by now. As for what I have received, sadly I don't know. I counted 31 blocks, but two people sent 2, so it seems like I need 6 more, but I have no idea from who :( :( :( I am expecting a block from mbogenpohl soon.

Next time I will not be using the computer to track my blocks. I got the two columns mixed up.

I am pretty sure that I got the best blocks in this swap. I will post a picture later (if I can find DD's camera) to prove it to you all!

yesterday i recieved 2 blocks from nursebonnie. and reneebobby.

kwiltkrazy 01-04-2011 11:18 AM

Shaysmema, I just got your block back in the mail, I forgot to put state and zip on it, must be half-heimers.
Sent it back out today. Sorry.

KarenBarnes 01-04-2011 12:26 PM

Sadly, I didn't write your blocks down for you Dawn! I just couldn't find the info I wanted so I scanned all the pages to see where I had posted. I'm pretty sure I posted whenever I received a block even if I didn't do pictures. Oh well, if I've missed some, I'll have to chalk it up to my lack of record keeping! Good thing I didn't become an accountant like I planned to! :)

moonrise 01-04-2011 05:36 PM

DH was able to make it to the post office this morning! Yippee! (Okay, so I didn't really give him a choice! ROFL! ;) )

I got a beautimous block (woo hoo!), and a pretty F8 to work on. I'll start on it once I'm fully caffeinated. I've got several photos to snap and post, too.

We love love love grocery shopping at night. No crowds whatsoever. :) Hubby's been on night shift for about 20 years, except for a few brief periods when he worked days. My mom says that even when I was a baby, I didn't want to sleep at night, so I guess I'm just a "natural" night owl.

Did you receive the block I sent? I never saw it posted here and I mailed it a while ago. It had little paw print and green (I think) blocks around the sides and four pictures framed in the center. I don't have a picture of it since it was accidentally deleted.

goldendog55 01-05-2011 08:17 AM

I'll check today. I thought I had posted it, but I sure could have missed it. Thanks for the reminder.

kwiltkrazy 01-05-2011 11:09 AM

Karen B, I found your wayward block, it was hiding out with the applique blocks that are a set for a quilt. Sent it out this morning. Sorry about that.

KarenBarnes 01-05-2011 02:04 PM

I'm excited to see it! Thanks for looking and I'm glad that it was already done so you didn't have to make it still!

letsquilt 01-05-2011 03:55 PM

mbogenpohl, I guess your block came today, I have to go sign for it as soon as I get time. Im excited to see it.

brenda 5 01-05-2011 06:32 PM

nurse bonnie i really like what you did with goldendogs fabric. I have looked and looked at it and couldn't find something to go with it. I have a camping/fishing schene i thought about. I have to get it done.
I have a stack of blocks that need to go out. I decided to send them with 4s squishes to those that are in my group.

mbogenpohl 01-05-2011 09:10 PM

Thanks Moonrise, I can't wait to see it.

reneebobby 01-06-2011 04:21 AM

Hello everyone, I just want to say thank you for being in this swap I got some of the most beautiful blocks ever seen. I need to pull them all out to take a picture of them (will try this weekend) I have finished all my blocks, well as you can see they are coming home to everyone. I'm sorry about that, the holidays, GRANDBABY (my goodness is she demanding lol) got the best of me. Again I appoligize for any inconvience this has caused anyone, but at least I found my machine (under tons of dust) and cleaned it off got all blocks done and home. Enjoy everyone and have a happy new year.

brenda5 ~ it wasn't easy to find the right fabric to go with it. Nothing yelled out to me. That one and Jupiters took me the longest to hear a voice for. That is a good idea to send the new squishes out with others. I'm just glad the postage didn't go up!!

Jupiter ~ grown-up coming home.
