Here are the last of them! I would have Put them all together in one pic but we're having animal hair issues lol. One just got back from the vet and is in succlusion in our room from surgery and our dog had an allergic reaction to something and is losing lots of hair. (no worries the vet gave her meds that are helping and some great ideas how to figure out what's causing it) Thanks for looking Hope you see the block you made!

But I am so glad I did. Now I just have to decide what to do with the blocks. Here are a couple of pictures showing them all. They are just wonderful.

Only person Im waiting on a block from at the last swap is fabric-fancy. NOW to find the time to put them all together in a quilt and get it done!

Got my top together from the Boomerang! I ended up making 12 more blocks so I'd have enough of this for a queen size. [ATTACH=CONFIG]350057[/ATTACH] upper view of top [ATTACH=CONFIG]350059[/ATTACH] Lower view of top [ATTACH=CONFIG]350060[/ATTACH] From the time I tried laying it out, she couldn't seem to stay off of it. If you notice a lot of blocks with tiny boarders around them, I had to add to 7 blocks because they did not measure 12.5 square...please please be sure your blocks are the correct size for swaps :). It's better to trim down than to have to add tiny boarders. |
Love them! Yes, I had to add a little fabric to some of mine too.
I was much more careful about 12.5" square the 2nd boomerang I did - after having to border a lot from the first boom. :-) Love that quilt moonwork! |

I am one of the guilty parties with a tiny border, but I definitely learned to add the extra to make them the right size. I will need to do the same thing with mine. Have laid my two different fabrics out but not positive on placement yet. Once I have the top assembled I will post a picture. Thanks for swapping and sharing!

Shouldnt have shown it to my daughter in law...now she wants a purple one! LOL. She really wants blocks based on one that I received from goldendog55 in Boom 7 but I told her NO WAY..its paper pieced...but it sure would make a beautiful quilt! Finished another one from a local quilt block of the month swap but really dont care for it..blocks are 24" and way too big I think. Starting on the black/white from Boom 7 after I get my ironing done. Productive weekend! Thanks for the comments! Would love to see more finished from Boom 6
