My report for today is:
F8's from, janecat Kris2011 Peggerss And then I received a grown up block from moonrise. On 10/15/11 I received a grown up block from CyndyH I will show you all of these now: The name of this block is "Star of Hope" This was my very first block to receive!This pretty block came from CyndyH. I love the way she used the Christmas colors and also gave it a bright look, making the star stand out. Thanks Cyndi. [ATTACH=CONFIG]267635[/ATTACH] This block, named "Snowball Nine Patch" from Quilter's Cach was made for me by moonrise. I love how she used the pointsettia fabric and accented it with the other fabric! It will really look good in my Christmas Quilt. Thanks. [ATTACH=CONFIG]267636[/ATTACH] |
F8 from Kris today. Will look up the block you want and see what I can come up with! Cute fabric. I just havent been able to find anything to send out that strikes my fancy! Off to the fabric store tomorrow to search some more.

Aully I have it in Excel. My macro formats addresses into a tab that is printed on the sheets as you see them. Word doesn't work for me since it puts headers and footers in and ruins the layout.
Send me a PM with your email and I'll email an excel file. What problem are you having with pdf? That should be pretty foolproof. But, of course we all have our own computers with their own minds!

When I print them from PDF they are to big and make a mess of the labels and I can not change the font size. I use the Avery labels. I tryed word yesterday and it was a mess too with the headers and footers. I will PM you, Thanks so much! :thumbup: |

Beautiful blocks received today from CyndiH and Sarah Fitz -- love them both, you captured exactly what I was looking for!
But could I ask that you post pictures? I cannot find the cord to connect the camera to the puter. The floors are being all torn up and I had to move the computer into the sewing room. There is a leak in the slab and I had to pack everything up -- living, dining, family and den. Ugh. Thought I moved everything I would need for the month into the sewing room but do not know what happened to the connecter cord. |

I received on of my envelopes back, The sticky label apparently came off.... Soooo I'll have to wait and see who doesn't get one because I have no idea who it goes to!!! Already made a sewing mistake and broke out the seam ripper. Has anyone else used the specialty triangle from fons and porter for HST? I did, sewed and then ironed them and sewed them how they go. Can you guess what I did wrong???? ..... didn't double check the size after ironing, they needed trimmed down.... lol at least they wern't to small!! Thank god for little miracles :) |
I decided NOT to post pictures of the blocks unless the person ask me to. I don't want to ruin surprises in the mail. If you ask, I then will post your block. I hope I don't see mine on here before I get it. I love surprises.

Got another F8 today from babyfire04. Ive wanted to make a b/w sampler but never have the time so Im excited to try this block! Also as a heads up I could not find fabric that just grabbed me but my sister in law was looking at my quilt pictures and told me she really loves purple so I bought a darker purple and a light lavendar and Im going to let you all make them into beautiful blocks and make her a quilt! She loves the small flower prints she said. And there are hundreds of them I found! Have fun..Ill mail them Tues since PO is closed Monday for Columbus day.

haven't started putting blocks together, but i spent a lovely evening picking out fabrics to put with the f8's you guys have placed into my care. it was very fun sorting, fondling and selecting fabrics. this alone will make joining this swap worth it. of course, i also like receiving lots of mail (especially not from bill collectors!!!)
