I peeked and I LOVE it!! Cant wait to receive it! I wonder if April could make it a "suggestion" for joining the swap that when someone finishes the swap they post a picture of their finished (or pieced) quilt? I would love to see what people do with the blocks they receive! Ive given 3 of the quilts away to family and they absolutely love them! Only bad thing is I have even more family saying "wheres mine" LOL

yeah I think this one is my first swap and my sis will lay claim to the quilt. I have cut the halloween which I KNOW my daughter will do her best to scoop up. Then there comes the.. well she got one..ever hear that song? lol so I guess I will be here a while driving you all nuts :) love the fun of working with so many different fabrics. no way can you get sick of it and there are ones everyone of us has been stumped with or maybe didnt find that fun to work with but I can honestly say after you start into them and then see what they turn out like well I sure had a whole lot of change of heart. Best thing I did was work from the day they came in backwards because if I had picked the easy ones first it would have been so hard to finish. I am waiting til closer to Christmas to lay out as I would like to do it one time and surely by then I will have all of them. the rest if any can be put into throw pillows or table mats for her. then its off to the longarm to get quilted. I am not so good at bigger quilts on my everyday singer. hard to squoosh them into that little area and move it freely.

Good news today: my blindness is being caused by cataracts, and not more glaucoma. They can be removed, and when they replace the lenses, I won't need to wear my thick glasses to see in the distance! One eye is still blind, but that hasn't slowed me down yet!

Wonderful news Judy!! They can do wonders now days. Ive worn glasses since I was 12 and cant imagine not having them on my face but sure hope I never have to go thru that kind of scare! Prayer helps!!

goldendog.....I have had cataract surgery and yes it is wonderful. I do not have to wear my glasses except I do. I still have astigmatisms and so I wear glasses to read. Actually, after the surgery, it is amazing that you can see.....it's like this huge miracle. I am nearsighted so to be able to read the clock clear as can be in the recovery room was so awesome. Good luck to you.
