One of my tasks for this weekend is to update all of my groups... I have received several blocks and will post pics and thank yous. :-)

GAIJIN - Yours was in the group I sent out about 3(?) weeks ago, sadly I put a single stamp on it and threw it in the box before I realized that I needed to put extra on it. If you don't have it soon, I will resend it. The post office clerk said if I didn't get it back right away that it would get to you.

I had all the positive thoughts to sew today but then when i went downstairs, I realized that I needed mor white. that meant I had to go off to the fabric store...sigh I know, I know....bummer. Well of course if I am out I might as well get some other errands done too, right???? So My grandson wanted grape jam and I needed to get some more of those cute little things that go in the bathtub to keep you from slipping. three of them (little dolphins) have finally worn out and came up. So the tub was a little slippery today. So off I went to get stuff. Got the white material and of course several others that I just needed. Got the Jam at the grocery store. Then it took me 7 stores to find the bath tub things. I even went to bed bath and beyond and they only had boring straight line ones. So I got some flowers from of all places Walmart. Sigh.....I am tired and pooped. I need a nap.

Gaijin I mailed your block back to you a long time ago. I will find my pic and send it to you so you can double check what you have received. Yours took me a lot of time to make so it stuck out in my head. hey I sent her one!
I will work on alikats and one other tomorrow then I have a doll quilt to whip up. And one more border on a quilt. other than that I plan on being bored sewing lol. like that could happen. This might be the first in two weekends that I can finally sew and I am hoping it works out. cross your fingers for me!

I will soon be back to making blocks. I had surgery a month ago and now, it is all infected and I feel rotten. I picked out some veggie seeds I wanted my sister to order, and that's all I've done today!

lol elisabrat.....now youknow why I was so tired. Here in So. Cal. you can go to several stores in a short area. That is why I call it the asphalt jungle of the world. I would rather be living in a lovely mountain area like you but alas, here I am in So. CA. Oh well such is life. One could be someplace worse. One positive thought is I can go to several quilt stores within a 10 mile radius.
