Wow..isnt that quite a few blocks left for this late in the swap? Some of the names I didnt recognize so maybe thats more than one swap? Im missing 5 and I have faith they will be on time! :) That way we can start on Boom 10!! :)

Yep, I got them! and really early too! :) They're lovely! I marked you off on one sheet but forgot to on the other. I'm so sorry, anyone else I may have missed?

I know... I still have 10 to come home ... never had that many so late in the boom before.

I'm in a swap at our LQS so sadly I doubt if I'll do #10 given the way this one is dragging along :(.

Hope everyone remembers the deadline and makes it. 4 months has been plenty of time to get these done and for me it was a commitment that I would do it. Guess I feel like I was giving my word that they would be done. So moonwork I feel the same way you do. I am still missing ninakk (2) babyfireo4, cuppy, dottiedodge, girlscouts1, lovingrandma, roseysue, and scrapper.

Moon, I hope you dont drop out of the next boom...we have been together in several of them! I just typed a long post but after I read it I decided I might get kicked out if I posted it so I deleted it! :) It boiled down to "reread the rules... if you dont finish you cant be in another swap"? is this correct? I dont think anyone wants to NOT be able to swap!

I laugh when I read this! (Forgive me, as I don't intend to be rude). The swap is a FOUR MONTH swap with final mailing date of JUNE 1ST-which means could take to June 5th or later to recieve all blocks.....we all know this! To suggest that it is "dragging out" makes me think of how excited you are to do something so wonderful for your dad, and how much harder it is the closer you get to the deadline. It is, of course, your option to sit out on the next. It, too, will have a four month deadline. And, participants will still have life happen that prevents them from meeting the deadlines. I always hate when I check in on the thread and the comments have gotten negative (by more than one participant). This is the thing that will keep me from joining again....will have to think about it!

That being said...all of mine have been sent, last one approx. 2 weeks ago. Hope they have all found thier way home safely! I wait patiently for my grown ups...I have plenty of things to do while I wait.
