Carsey, Yes, I did get your f8. It just seems to have rained squishies in the last 3 days. I am doing both swaps, so I will be receiving 70 fabrics, and I just haven't had time to list them all yet. Sorry!

I'm asking that you post when you receive the fabs I send out as you get them. I'm highlighting my list as you receive them...that way I'll know if I miss anyone! Strip # 1 (medium to dark solid or print) cut 2" x 4 1/2" Strip # 2 light color cut 21/2" x 4 1/2" Strip # 3 (medium to dark solid or print) cut 2" x 4 1/2" I've never done a tute before. Do you need one for this...very simple 3 strips or bars sewn together. I'd be so happy if you all want to do this, but if not, it'll be ok. I will send one out with all of my finished blocks! ______________________________ strip #1 Cut 2" x 4 1/2" medium to dark solid or print _______________________________ ________________________________ strip # 2 Cut 2 1/2" x 4 1/2 inches light color to write on please put name, board name, group (buddies) and state on it __________________________ __________________________ strip# 3 Cut 2" x 4 1/2" med or dark solid or print __________________________ Sew all three together in that order , write your info with permanent fabric pen (pigma pens work well) Press and you're done! I'll send them out with the blocks I finish as well! Good morning Besties buddies on 1/14/11 I received F8s from Lillie and buddy'smom.
I sent F8's out on 1/15/11 to everyone on the list. For those of you in both of the swaps my intentions were to send you one of each of my two fabrics (I'm using the same two for both swaps) but my DD and DGD decided they needed to help me and they already had labels on envelopes and had fabric in them and sealed from both lists so I have no idea who got what so you may get the same fabric twice. I hope this is okay, I am going to make two quilts from these two swaps so you can even make the same block twice if you want to. April I hope today finds you feeling lots better. |

I mailed out a bunch of grown-up blocks yesterday and they all went for 44 cents. Took them to the PO and she weighed all of them. However, would like to know if any of them come with postage due. I've made one grown up block so far. Still have 2 more days to sew and see how many I can get done before back to the grind at work. I'm having so much fun fondling the fabrics and coming up with ideas on what to do with the different fabrics.

Just checking in. I got new squishes today but would have to get up and go in the other room to get them so MUST wait until tomorrow. Baby boy has a new girlfriend... she has a two year old. I baby sat yesterday and today. I haven't been this tired in ages...
Also got some blocks all grown up, saving them to send out Tuesday. As my grandpa used to say "I ain't had so much fun since the alligators et my little brother." (he was a sick and twisted man...but fun) |

I'm here! I'm happy to have recieved so many envelopes of F8's already! I haven't yet picked out my fabric, but that should be coming soon.

All the F8's I received yesterday (1/15) were Buddies fabrics, but I do have lovingisabella's grown-up block ready to mail on Tuesday. I'll also mail any others that I get finished between now and then. :thumbup:

I couldnt resist, so I went there. I didnt just take a peek, I LOOKED. You did a very nice job. The blocks are very pretty and their owners are going to be very happy when they arrive home.
